So close to the beach!

Posted Apr 7, 2015
We usually stay at the other la Quinta on the island, but this one ended up being cheaper. Turns out we LOVE how close it is to the beach! It's just right across the beach! We went several times a day. So we will be staying here from now on!

Close to the beach not smoke free

Posted Apr 5, 2015
We got a non smoking room but the room smelt like an ashtray. It's close to the beach but they don't have any place to wash the sand off before you go back in the room.

The outside needs work

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Location: We were in town for a family wedding not for sightseeing.
The staff was very pleasant. As I was making my way to the room I was having serious doubts about the decision I had made to stay there. The outer buildings, stairs/elevator, sidewalks were all unkempt and in dire need of power washing and painting. I was relieved to see the room was clean and seemed to have been somewhat updated, but you know what first impressions can do to business.

One night stay before boarding cruise

Posted Mar 7, 2015
Pros: Clean, but the people next door were smoking and we could smell it. Thought all rooms were smoke free
Cons: Noise level
Location: Close to pier, shop & bank
Little noisy, didn't get a lot of sleep. Car doors being shut and peoples voices. Walls thin.

Spilled some water on bathroom floor, took washcloth to wipe it up and white cloth came up filthy dirty!! Gross! Made me want to sleep with clothes on!

Nice hotel close to beach

Trash people were messing with garbage. Trucks kept backing up beeping and banging around early in morning.

Nice location - Terrible hotel

Posted Feb 3, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Room cleanness, comfort and customer service.
Location: lots of restaurants, Stewart Beach Park and CVS
We stayed in La quinta because it was in a great location, unfortunately that was about it, the room was filthy and smell like wet dog and something else (maybe dirty socks), at the end we could not take it and when when we express this to the person in the front desk she just check us out. we lost our money and we ended up at an other hotel.
