Would not recommend this property. Hair dryer did not worth, they changed our door lock because we could not get it open, no conditioner in the shower, tub drain did not work properly, floor dirty. All property needs a coat of paint and a total cleaning.

Horrible the place is falling apart and the only good thing is the staff. The staff is attentive and try their best given their very limited resources due to the hotel that is falling apart.

Staff was wonderful. Felt safe and comfortable, staff was accommodating to our late arrival, due to delayed flight. Checked in at 2am. Downfall would be no WiFi during our 2 day stay, beds & construction site obstructing our beach view. Over all, very pleased.

Love that it's conveniently across the street from the beach. The outer appearance, however, makes you wonder about par standards. Check-in started with waiting in a very long line. Only two behind the counter and one was training. It gave me a chamce to rrad reciews. Initially, we wwre given keys to one room, wjich was actually occupied by the couple next to us in line. The new keys put us on the opposite side side of the hotel. The check-in process took over an hour. The room looked better on the inside, thankfully. I assured my travel buddy it's just one night. I did see a roach in the bathroom (as i read in other reviews). $15/day for parking and hot breakfast is served. Staff was apologetic and friendly.

Very strict on 4 PM check in resulting in a long line to check in (took over 45 minutes standing in line). Very dirty in room. Floor and tub were dirty. Bed was too soft. Out of toilet paper.

This hotel is in the prime location right across from the beach and could have SO much potential if they would invest in it. Instead we arrived to a disgusting hotel. While checking in a homeless man clearly on drugs was going through bags at the door for almost 30 minutes before staff told him to leave. We got to our room and didn't have any toilet paper or towels. They wouldn't bring us any so we had to go back to the front desk to get it. There isn't enough parking for this hotel. People partied outside our door all night. The shower/tub was baking up and wouldn't drain. If you're looking for a cheap hotel then this is it. Hopefully they take the time to make this a quality beachfront hotel and not a dump.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. The attempt to clean the room could have been done better by a kindergarten student -- there were crumbs on the desks and floors, bobby-pins and garbage laying around. Don't even get me started on what the bathroom looked like. The bedding was stained and filled with hair and what looked like bugs. Absolutely appalling. The only positive thing I can note about this hotel is how quickly they agreed to refund our money when we said we were leaving - immediately upon checking in and seeing the disgusting condition of the rooms. Don't try to save money and stay here - do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

We found clothes left in the drawer, the stopper in the tub was broken and couldn't be used. $15 for parking when we have never had to pay at the other places plus many other houskeeping problems. Staff was wonderful.

I was unsure when I booked this with the reviews I saw. I reserved an executive suite. The outside of the building is a little run down. There is no elevator but only one floor of steps so not bad. Our room was nice and also clean. The complimentary breakfast was ok cereal, waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee, milk. I would stay again.

It was cheap so we got what we paid for. Was not the cleanest. Floors and bathroom were gross. Orignally said they didn't have any rooms ready early whej we called ahead then we got there and asked again. Had pay an extra $50 to check in by noon not 4pm even though there were a ton of rooms ready. In the long run we paid too much for the quality. Location was okay, we Ubered to most things in the area. Across the street from the beach.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. There was no indication that I needed to pay $15 to park at the hotel I already paid for. The staff was not helpful at all. Someone was smoking pot next door to us. The room was clean but it was in desperate need of upkeep. The website did not show pictures that indicated how old and dilapidated this place was. We went to check out their continental breakfast and the selection was minimal so we decided to just check out. While at the desk, another customer asked the lady behind the desk if there were any more forks and was told no. The customer asked how she was supposed to eat the waffle she’d made and the lady told her there were spoons and knives.

Free breakfast, next to the beach and police doing it's rounds like it should. Friendly staff plus no bugs whatsoever. My partner really enjoyed herself here. Compare to others this is as clean as it gets for a budget.

I actually loved our stay. The shower pressure wasnt great but they have Dove for all shower needs and lotion. The main issue I had was the manager. We had a double bed room but 9nly 3 towels so anytime I wanted to shower, I had to bring one of my sons dirty towels down just so I could get a clean one. Had to do twice. Night audit guy was AMAZINGLY nuce and informative. Parking does cost per night unless Military which we were. Room was clean and the rest of the staff was nice. Breakfest is just bread stuff and fruit... it is included. Pool looked nice but we just did the beach. The manager lady seem to hate her job cauze she was super rude anytime I asked her anything, even the towel. Area is safe. A/C is kinda loud so if you are a light sleeper it might be rough for you.

I liked the windows in our room. Ceiling to floor. The suite was great. That's the ONLY room I would stay in here. The regular rooms aren't very good. It's an OLD property. It needs a LOT of redoing. And they need a working elevator so you don't have to take the stairs everywhere. People working there were GREAT and cleaning ladies SUPER sweet!!! We appreciate the nice place to stay right across from the beach area.

Arrived at 9pm (with 4 kids) to find that the suite i reserved was actually not available. They offered adjoining rooms. After moving into one of the rooms we found that our keys worked for only 1 room. Suddenly they switched us to completely different adjoining rooms on a different floor. Again, the keys only worked for 1 room. The man walked with me to the room, saw for himself, said he needed to change the door batteries. I waited and held a light for him to do so. Still didnt work. So he needed to call a maintenance man. So, around 10pm i was expected to keep our group in one room, while they attempted to gain access to the adjoining room. No thank you. We ended up searching for a new hotel that could accept us. Packing up and moving, again. The property was run down. Apparently the suite i originally reserved was under maintenance for water leaking through the ceiling. Unreal. I reccommend the Home2 Suites by Hilton down the street. Beautiful, clean, and just as promised with a view!

We had to be switched rooms due to items not working was not informed I on top had to pay for parking to even stay there. The bathroom was covered in MOLD and VISIBLE water damage on floor/walls/ceiling.

BEWARE. This property now charges $15 per day for parking. I will not be staying here again. Plenty of other places to stay in Galveston (much nicer) that do not have this added fee. Building is old. Paint peeling off. The tub has no handle bar so there's nothing to hold onto when getting in/out of tub/shower.

This property is disgustingly filthy. A half inch of dust on the base of the nightstand lamp. Hair on the walls of the shower and faucet. Hair stuck to the AC unit. Dried crud on the lotion bottle and hair dryer. White towels with stains. And, if that’s not enough, the banging of the flagpole across the street kept me awake all night. Miserable experience.

I booked handicapped and both rooms had tubs with grab bars. Low to zero entry showers is what we were looking for. My mother and i could not bathe as we cannot crawl over a tub.

Despite staying here for 10 days, there were no housekeeping services despite multiple requests. The Wifi also did not work at all. The only save grace was that the counter staff were all very nice and helpful. I will never stay here ever again because it was truly an awful experience
