Close to the seawall

The hotel is relatively clean & nice and is right on the seawall but the views are not very good from the rooms.

Room dirty, dog food on floor. Wireless was down. Ice machine & laundry broken. Dogs barking & loud music. Bathroom not stocked.

Dirty room, moldy smell everywhere

Our room smelled moldy and so the whole floor, this place need to be deep cleaned!! I went to the store and got some lysol, but did little with the smell. This hotel was the worse I stayed in.

Horrible experience

This was one of the worst hotels that I've stayed in. They had to switch my room 3 times. The a first room was still occupied, the second room had spiders, the phone didn't work, the lock on the balcony was broken, and you could literally see under the door. Room number three had a clogged tub and toilet. Every time I complain they just move me to another room. Who want a to keep packing up and changing rooms?????? Even with the breakfast it wasn't ready on time and I had to keep asking for things (plasticware, syrup, etc.)

The First we were put in was dirty and smelled like smoke. The Second room we were put in was never cleaned and the mattresses and the box springs were standing up against the wall with all the dirty sheets pilled in the corner. The bathroom was disgusting. The Third room was ok but the a/c never got cold. There were trash cans in the halls on every floor catching water that was dripping out of the ceiling. Horrible Experience.

I was disgusted. I think it should be renamed. Should not be associated with La Quinta. The hotel is one if the lower class beach hotels.

It's across from the ocean but you are unable to get into the water. Breakfast was just ok, nothing to brag about but got the job done. The rooms were ok, a place to sleep not to stay and enjoy. Bed wasn't too bad, room stayed cool, refrigerator and microwave were nice to have.

Galveston Visit

Hotel staff was courteous and professional. The hotel was overall clean and presentable, however cleaning staff did not get to our room for two days. Left the hotel and came back to dirty room. Also odor on the first and second floor from unknown area was uncomfortable. Cleaning staff seem to be limited for the amount of guests I assumed. Overall I would come back. Breakfast area was always hot and dinning area was clean. Overall I would recommend this location to others. The pricing was great considering other hotels in the area.
