Nice close to the beach

The room was clean except the desk. It had sticky soda all over it. The bathroom was clean. Bed very comfortable too. We had to unplug the microwave because it made a constant noise. I recommend new lamp shades and a good power washing all along the walk ways to elevators and rooms. Very nasty. overall it was okay. Will I stay again.... Probably not.

This hotel was the worst.

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything need improvement.
Location: The location was the only good thing about the hotel.
The hotel pictures online are nothing like the real room. It was very very filthy. I didn't even want to walk on the carpet or the bathroom floor barefooted. The bed was very uncomfortable. We will never stay at this hotel again, will not recommend it to any of my friends or family. We paid to much money for this room.

It was clean which is most important to me. I would've enjoyed some meat for breakfast, it was all carbs. Overall it was a good stay.

Horrible

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Late checkin - toons not ready til 6 pm; no towels until 10 pm. Room and bathroom dirty. Too many people allowed into each room around us. No way the staff ( who were really trying) could keep up with the number of guests piled into rooms.

Really bad experience. dirty and stinky

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Just read my comments above.
Location: Nothing
We have traveling ( my family and myself) to Galveston for about 8-9 years every year on July or August and we try in the past several hotels, but this year was the worst experience, dirty pool ( you can see the tiles in the pool with big stains and trash all over the surface, the rooms are the worst of all extreme nasty dirty carpets all furniture in bad conditions, the hallways or corridors looks like a sidewalks in New York city, blackish with grease, spills, etc. really the worst of the worst, we reserve a non smoking room but the rooms stinks like cigar, the mattress stinks like a old man staying there for months and nobody cleans it, I have to go to Kroger and buy a clorox disinfectant and apply all over the surface of the mattress to mitigate the bad smell. the ice machine was broken in the corridor, I have a cut in my finger and in the lobby they don't provide a bandit to me because they don't have a First Aid Kit. the appearance of the personal in the lobby is just terrible woman's with their hair not clean the shirts uniron ( like they take their clothes from the washer/dryer machine and put it on) eating while attending customers, etc. I hope I don't have to live this experience again, never.

Worst hotel I have ever been to.

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
I paid more for this room than any hotel room in 30 years. The picture of the "King Superior" room was definitely not the room I reserved online. My room fee was non-refundable, otherwise I would have left upon seeing the room. The staff was disorganized. The room stunk of mold or mildew. Maroon walls and forest green carpet - hideous. 1 towel and 1 wash cloth for 2 guests. Went to the desk and asked for more and another guest was there for the same reason. We were both treated as a bother to the staff. The walls in the hotel were paper thin. Our neighbors kept us up all night arguing. Finally at 4:30 am we had enough, so we got dressed and left. Tried to make a cup of coffee in the room, but of course no sugar or creamer for the coffee.

Pros: Close to the seawall.
Breakfast wasn't that great. Hardly anything to eat. Room was't that clean and the toilet ran all night.
