Nice clean hotel! Good choice, decent price.

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Room was ready early. Nice clean room. No problems. We enjoyed the indoor pool & hot tub! The complimentary breakfast was nice also. We stayed after our visit to Moody Gardens and it was not too far away, & much cheaper than staying at the Moody Gardens hotel. Glad we picked it!

Clean Rooms.

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: Clean rooms and good breakfast.
Cons: walls a little thin. could hear the kids hollering next door.
Location: Good location on the outskirts of the inter-city (Galveston Texas). Easy access to points of interest.
Rooms were clean and roomy. Climate control (thermostat) did not seem to respond. Room was cold. Good breakfast. Would definitely use again.

Convenient

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Clean, friendly, nice staff.
Cons: There is a strict no pets policy except for service dogs and staff needs to know what this mean. A non service dog was in the hotel and miss behaving.
It's a nice and clean hotel situated close to the sea wall. You need a car but everything is close by on Galveston Island. The breakfast is decent as well. The parking, wifi and breakfast are free. We live in Houston but love spending the night on Galveston island.

Lovely hotel but over priced

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Bed was comfortable and I liked the size of the room.
Cons: More TV stations and lower the price of the rooms.
Location: It is not close to the beach but is close to I-45.
I like the hotel and the indoor pool, but I think it is over priced for the location. Moody Gardens was the same price and has a nicer pool and location. Don't get me wrong, the room was a good size and comfortable, but they are not close to the beach. Plus, the tv only had one station for kids (cartoon network), which I wouldn't call kid friendly. This would be a great place to stay if it was under $200/night.

nice hotel

for a busy weekend at the island, was good to be just close to the freeway, you avoid the traffic to return to Houston.

Thank you for staying with us. We are conveniently located near 45 hwy. It is very nice when the island is experiencing heavy traffic. We hope to see you back soon.

Misleading info. Hotel is not close to beach.

Posted May 12, 2014
Hotel is too expensive for its location. It is on 45 and does not have a beach front view!

Thank you for staying here with us. I do apologize that you did not feel that your pre negotiated price was fair. We are located a few minutes from the beach, however, we do offer bay views with some of the best sunset views on the island. I do hope that you will consider staying with us again.

Far away from restaurants

Posted Apr 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was right next to the utility area and was very noisy. I would not put a client in that room. The room was nice but not the placement of the room. Had to walk at least a mile to a restaurant. When you are hungry and tired that is the last thing you want to do.
