Staff was friendly. The bathtub showed signs of age but everything was clean and it worked fine. Microwave didn’t work and had some rust on it.

We have an extermination company come to check each room thoroughly each week to insure there are no bedbugs, but when we received your review, we did reexamine the room you occupied and there was no evidence discovered to indicate bedbugs. Also, I have no documentation that you reported the issue during your stay. Sometimes people confuse sand dig bites from the beach and mosquito bites on the island.

Good location or short distance by car or on foot for shopping or dining out. Hotel is close to sea wall within walking distance but does not offer an ocean view due to surrounded by other hotels. Be careful at the awkward location for an entrance to the front of the hotel which passes next to a cafe house which is sometimes full of cross foot traffic going in and out. Overall it was a decent quiet stay at a reasonable price. Reminder rooms are cleaned every 3rd. stay like some hotels but you can request and receive any towels or supplies at any time or day. Continental breakfast is basically either a blueberry muffin, a chocolate chip muffin and coffee. I cannot remember if anything else was served.

The front desk was very nice but there were cobwebs on the walls and hair everywhere on the lampshade and beyond. The bedspread had some questionable spots on it. I didn't want to touch anything in there and it made my stay uncomfortable.

Curtains falling off rod and lamp doesn’t work but for the price it was fine the night before our cruise. $4 for a soda or bottle of water out of the machine.

What I liked was when we got back to the room from going to a ball and it was cold we went to the door and ring the doorbell cause our keys weren’t working they helped us out fast and we got in our room fast thank you is all I have to say about that

Other guests mention a terrible smell in their reviews. I notice a slight odor when I entered my room, which isn't uncommon when you're this close to the water. The odor went away after I turned on the ac/heating. I wish there was another or a wider entrance to this property too. Aside from that, I had a wonderful visit! Great location!

The room was nice and very clean. The hotel is squeezed in behind a large condo complex and a Waffle House - actually have to drive through the WH parking lot to get to hotel entrance. Unfortunately was assigned a room with a connecting door to the next room and sound of neighbors tv is as if it were in my room!

Don’t stay here for the breakfast
As far as breakfast included- it’s a muffin. Check in easy but not much info as far as ice machine, breakfast, etc. Room was ok- upstairs which was a pain with luggage as there is no elevator. None downstairs available.

Nice place. Front doors loked at 6p evem though sogn said 9p. The typical Super 8 breakfast was not there. Just mini muffins, coffee and juice. No daily housekeeping.

Didn't like that they charge you morning of arrival and then when you arrive they charge you again for your room. hoping one of the charges falls off. Breakfast consists of a mini size muffin. The linen, blankets were dirty, and stained.
