“Great place to stay for Galveston Attractions”

They need to carry handy stuff for their customer, like travel tooth brush, shower cap, etc Quality and service was great.

They were very kind to me when we explained I was handicapped and needed a chair for sleeping. She changed our rooms immediately. The room was clean and comfortable.

I reviewed the Expedia reviews before my stay.... and learned about the minor difficulty with intering the parking lot so I was prepared. Hotel service and room was much better than I expected for the $40 price range. The room and bathroom were clean/well maintaned and the bed was confortable. The price is discounted when compared too the adjacent motels due to the property being located in between several other properties...so you have to enter the parking lot through the Waffle House Parking lot. (Not a big deal) The location was convienant to the Seawall and eateries. I walked around the property and adjacent properties 2 nights in a row (exercise). I didn't see any rift raft. This was my first stay on the west end of Galveston so it was a cleaner/safer place. If you don't mind Motels (external doors) I'd highly recommend this one.

“Short vacation in Galveston”

We went on a short family vacation to Galveston and wanted a reasonably priced hotel close to the beach. We were pleased with the hotel as it was only a short walk from the beach. They have breakfast available until 9 am, but the rooms have refrigerators, so if you want to keep drinks and yogurt or other cold foods in the room that is not a problem. There is not any oceanview visible from the hotel, but as a place to stay while enjoying this island it certainly does well.

“Worth the money”

The hotel was worth the $$$$$, the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The bed was soooo comfortable and the room was clean. Parking was a little tight but not a problem. We would stay again you can't beat the location for the price. My only suggestion is to add fruit to breakfast so that it's not just carbs. Be sure to go to Boudraux's on the Dock for the Best Catfish you will ever taste.

“Not a Bad Hotel”

Overall, the hotel was pretty decent. At first, our room looked pretty nice, but upon closer inspection, the worksmanship was not so nice. We forgot to ask about the breakfast times, so we missed that.

Even in winter, Galveston beaches are beautiful! and you can see a variety sea creatures around. The hotel has a great location and it is family friendly.

This hotel was within walking distance to the seawall and was very clean and comfortable. The only thing was the outdoor jacuzzi was out of order, but everyone was very friendly and our stay was great for the price.
