“Nice place, good location”
I stayed in a room with 3 friends. The room was spacious and clean. There is a common area with comfy couches and a TV. They also own the B&B next door which is where breakfast is served. You can have cereal, fruit, meats and cheeses, toast, and muffins for free or pay a small amount for a hot breakfast. The B&B is a 5 min drive from Salthill and a 10 min drive to downtown Galway. Its only about an 8 euro fare by cab. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that it can be noisy on the first floor. Guests entering and leaving don't seem to care that there are others trying to sleep! Also, The door handles are very noisy when turned. Everytime one of us got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night the door handle woke everyone in the room.
“Great Taylors Hill B&B”
Great B&B. Very Friendly & Hospitable. Rooms had fresh modern amenaties and great interior design. We will definately go back. Car park was convenient and cabs were easy to get, once called were there in 5 minutes. Easy cab ride to city center and SaltHill.
“good place to stay”
very nice for the money. I would stay there again.
“Nice B&B away from downtown”
I found the hotel to be nice and clean, and the staff were very helpful in explaining local dining options and arranging for local bus tours. The hotel is in a residential neighborhood alongside numerous other B&Bs. There is a bar/restaurant about a 5-10 minute walk, and McDonald's is about 15 minutes away. The hotel took me about 45 minutes to walk to from downtown Galway, but there are one or more bus lines running near the hotel. Their hotel guide said that a taxi to downtown would be about 10 euros. The hotel's breakfast was very good as well. The room was clean. The only drawback I found was that in the middle of the night, I could hear other people in their rooms when it was quiet.
