Great hotel on water, close to downtownPosted Nov 5, 2013
Pros: updated look, GREAT service
Location: very close to town center
The hotel was a little difficult to locate due to the amount of one way streets in Galway, but once inside, the service was awesome and the amenities were fantastic. Hotel is beautiful and updated. People are nice. Downtown center is walking distance as well as things to see like universities and cathedrals.

Great location-no nned to use car until departurePosted Oct 24, 2013
Pros: As above.Reception, bar and dining staff all unfailingly pleasant. Parking was very secure.Rooms very nice, with quality tea/coffee.Bathroom well stock
Cons: The shower over the bath is fiddly and outdated for a hotel of this class.
Location: Galway on your doorstep.Nearby Thai restaurant at Spanish arch is brilliant.Found a great session in the Quays pub.Coffeee at Goyas cafe unbeatable.
Had 2 night stay in this hotel, Well located,no need to drive at all.Hotel was clean, warm and cosy. We got a great rate via expedia. Breakfast was excellent. The foyer is nicely done.

Close to train station.Posted Oct 15, 2013
Pros: Great customer service by all the staff that we encountered.
Cons: The EURO vs. the dollar.
Location: Shopping, sight-seeing (tour of Cliffs of Moher is a must! Ask front desk for details.), foodie opportunities, and the famous pub scene after dark.
Completed one of my bucket list items by taking my nearly 19 year old daughter to Ireland. It was her first, my fifth trip to the Emerald Isle. We enjoyed Galway very much with all of the shopping, sight-seeing (tour of Cliffs of Moher is a must! Ask front desk for details), foodie opportunities, and the famous pub scene after dark. The hotel is within close walking distance to all the fun that Galway has to offer. As it turned out, we stayed an extra day.

Nice hotel w/in walking distance of entertainment.Posted Oct 3, 2013
The hotel was exactly what I expected and very comfortable. The hotel staff were very helpful and tried to help direct us to the main business district. We still got lost, but we'll chalk that up to jet lag. It was also very close to the harbor (as the name would suggest), which was a plus for these tourists. I would definitely stay there again if I was in Galway.

Pros: The hotel was easy to get to and had free parking. The breakfast was very good and also had a selection of hot food cooked to order.
Cons: The rooms were pretty small. The street side room the first night was very noisy. We moved for the second night to a quieter room.
Location: The location is great for walking to town. All restaurant and pubs are right there. Next to the water it is a very pretty location.
We spent two nights in Galway and had a great time. We went to the Cliffs of Moher and that is an all day experience. The hotel location provided easy access to all areas of town.
