Location, Location, LocationPosted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Beautifully situated on the banks of the river in the middle of town. The location makes it easy for exploring the sights of Galway.
Location: Lots of good food and drink nearby.
Wonderful hotel in the heart of the town. We wish we had been able to stay longer in order to check out the town more. This hotel is well suited to explore the town of Galway on foot. Lots of good pubs, shopping, and interesting locations nearby.

Handy locationPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Good breakfast. Handy location. Efficient and friendly staff.
Cons: Somewhere to sit in the room apart from one upright chair.
Location: Boat trips to Aran Islands - we missed this because we didn't get up early enough. Good pubs and restaurants very close.
Stayed two nights. Staff were friendly and helpful. Once again with a Jury hotel we weren't warned that there is no parking available. We had to use the multistory carpark next door which seems to havebeen designed by someone who doesn't drive.

Great location, Comfortable.Posted Jul 6, 2014
Location: Next to shops, restaurants and bars."Galway Tours" bus to Connemara, Cong, Kylemore Abbey, and Cliffs of Moher picks up right in front of the hotel.
This location is perfect! A very walkable location. Next to a charming part of town, many shops, restaurants and bars. The "Galway Tours" tour bus to Connemara, Cong, Kylemore Abbey, and Cliffs of Moher picks up right in front of the hotel. The hotel had a lively hotel bar (bartender Mr. Burke was great!) Room was clean, comfortable and quiet with double paned windows. I would stay here again when visiting Galway.

Great location & lovely hotelPosted Jul 4, 2014
Located at the end of Quay street, which has all of the shops & pubs. Stayed over weekend & there were some late night partyers, which is expected. Nothing too disruptive, but if you want peace & quiet, it maybe better to stay in Salthill. Overall we were very happy with this hotel & would stay here again.

Pros: Location, friendly staff, garden by the river....nice bar with food...good.
Cons: Two chairs in the room rather than one
Location: Right on the quay ....next to restaurants, great views and walks nearby Spanish Arch across the street.

Cons: No room safe to store valuables
Location: Great hikes along river or to promenade great pedestrian street just outside front door easy to find many good places to eat so close.
Easy to get to. Best location in the city. Clean, quiet, friendly, with very helpful staff. Great breakfast. Great walks from here. We were totally satisfied.

Won't stay here again.Posted Jun 26, 2014
Hotel centrally located & close to restaurants but the staff were not friendly and the rooms do not have air conditioning. Our room was located directly above the bar patio so we couldn't have out windows open and had to use a crappy little ( and loud) fan for our stay. It was not a good experince.

Great hotel in a great location!Posted May 31, 2014
Pros: The area.
Cons: Better mattresses!!
Location: Easy walking distance to historical sites, shops, and dining.
Traveled with my sister and mother. Room for 3 people is a little cramped. Had to share a bed with my sister, but overall, a great hotel. Very clean. Wonderful bar area!
