Great hotel in center of townPosted Nov 23, 2013
Pros: Location/staff/breakfast buffet/ fast wifi throughout.
Cons: Bathrooms, although clean, could be more modern looking.
Location: 5 mins walk to town center, right across the road from the train station.(no noise at all)
We had a business class room which was a nice size and has a massive queen size bed with nice duvet & pillows ,nespresso machine, flat screen tv and comfy chair. Room was always clean and staff very friendly and helpful.bathroom was small and a bit premier inn but always clean. Breakfast buffet was one of the best and the car parking is on site/ underground and only 5 euros for 24 hours for guests and you can take your car out as often as you want and still only pay 5euros.fast wifi was also included with the deal.plenty of uk chanels on TV.Bar meals were reasonably priced and tasty. Would definately recommend this hotel.

Exceptional hotelPosted Oct 16, 2013
Trying to find the hotel was a bit confusing. The GPS lead us to an "area" but it was off. If you go here I'd advise printing a blow up map of the area as it's not 100% clear without a visual. There were a few signs but most of the buildings in this area look "somewhat" similar. Aside from that the hotel food, staff and facility itself was just above and beyond amazing. I wish we stayed for an extra night as the room view (overlooking the bay) was just spectacular in the morning. I'd highly recommend this place even if the cost is a bit high... it's higher for a reason and we feel it was ultimately worth it.

Very comfy bed, and great breakfast. Hotel was a little too modern for my taste.

We will highly recommend Radison bluPosted Sep 9, 2013
Cons: Didn't realize our bed should have been made into a proper king until couple nights into our stay. But not a major issue they fixed it.
Location: Seconds from bus and train terminal. Walking distance to Eyre Square, Spanish Arch and the Long Walk. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
We were very impressed with not only the rooms but the impeccable service at both this location and the Radisson blu in Dublin and will highly recommend them to anyone. As well, as look for other Radisson blu hotels in other destinations when we travel. This one is located within a shirt walk to Eyre Square and plenty if restaurants and local shops.

Decent could have betterPosted Sep 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
I enjoyed my stay very much but i feel with a few small tweaks it could have been a lot better! The receptionists were barely ever at the desk and when i asked to book something they did not even offer to do it they just asked if i wanted to use their phone! Concierge was innexistant! And we had to ring 3 times about room service with no answer! Same thing with reception! The room was great we had a business class suit it was perfect and had a great view! The spa was perfect no complaints what so ever! And the hotel was so close to the city center!

Lovely hotel, excellent servicePosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very good hotel, nice spa and outdoor hot tub which was odd at first but enjoyable! We stayed at a lot of spa hotels during our tour of Ireland and this was one of the best. Staff were excellent, breakfast good and they always found a table even at busy times. Good car parking rate and location good although you do have to cross some busy roads and walk through the grungy and dark JFK park - circumnavigate it through surrounding roads as you have to go through to get to the city centre. Early check in was not a problem, all staff attentive and stay was stress free. Don't know why this has poor reviews, it's an excellent hotel don't hesitate to book!

Just OkPosted Aug 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
First stay at a Radisson Blu. Had heard they were really nice and this one was just ok. Not near all the main stuff but easy walking distance. Hotel was acceptable - nothing great, nothing bad.

lovely breakPosted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Staff excellent, buffet breakfast had fantastic choice of foods. dinner was lovely, staff very helpful. Just one thing, we forgot items in foyer when checking out. We remembered when we were 10kms outside Galway. we rang hotel to check if items still there. We are still awaiting call back three days later.

Leisure TripPosted Aug 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed here for 2 nights recently. All of the staff were lovely-very courteous, efficient and friendly. We ate in the restaurant 1 night and the bar another night. The food was great in both but i must say the food was exceptional in the restaurant and good value. The only thing i would say is that we had quite a long walk to our room and had to use 2 different lifts. But i would definitely stay here again, walking distance to all of the attractions and shopping that Galway has to offer.
