Close to town centrePosted Oct 9, 2013
A bit pricey compared to the other nine impressive establishments where we stayed during our tour. That aside, we were satisfied with the experience. Most obliging and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Off street parking. Short walk to town centre.

Aged rooms with friendly staffPosted Sep 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
This place was easy to find, on a main road and close to town centre. The place is a little aged including the room. Only an old small tv. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and good value. The staff were great.

Adequate StayPosted Aug 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed at St. Jude's for two nights in the four bedroom in the basement. The room was large enough for all of the beds and our baggage, and included a desk and chair as well. We didn't feel overly cramped. The rooms were clean and lovely, beds a little on the soft side. Our booking did not include breakfast, so I cannot comment on that, and because we didn't partake in breakfast we really didn't have an opportunity to meet the staff (so I cannot comment on that area of the hotel). Our only negative was not the hotel's fault, but a group of folks next door were up singing and yelling from 4am until 5:30, even after several attempts of us asking them to keep it down. Again, not the hotel's fault, but be aware the walls are thin (although even the thickest of walls wouldn't have soften these folks).

Charming Galway B and B , close to everythingPosted Aug 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a delightful stay at this B and B. we were able to walk to city centre, many restaurants, and tour bus stations. The location is extremely convenient, close to everything yet on a quiet street. The hosts were most friendly and always helpful with any questions we had. We definitely recommend St. Jude's for you stay in Galway.

A great location and very resonable rates. The Family room is ideal for a group of friends, as it can easily accommodate 4/5 adults. Easy 8 min walk to Shop St

Galway VacationPosted Jul 18, 2013
The staff is very friendly and very accomodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the B&B is very close to the city centre, but far enough that you don't get the noise.

Nice B&B close to downtown:Posted Jul 14, 2013
Pros: Relaxing atmosphere, convenient to downtown and a friendly staff.
Cons: Maybe having a guide for local food. We did ask for a couple recommendations, which we were given. Would have been nice to seen a bigger list
Location: Great location. Park the car and walk to downtown where shopping and things to do were plentiful. Dog track nearby for those who like that.
Easy to get to, on a main street. Walk into the beginning of downtown was 5 minutes and 10 minutes into the heart. Close to pubs, places to eat and convenience stores. Owner was particularly helpful on our way out of town with directions and googled the best route to take. A charming place and we would definitely go back there. They also owned the Abbey Lodge, about a 7-8 minute walk. we needed another room and that's where we got one. Was equally as charming.

Hotel is centrally located and provides excellentPosted Jul 10, 2013
Pros: Large, comfortable room, great breakfast, free off-street parking and wi-fi
Location: Centrally located 5 mins from Eyre Square
We arrived in Galway much sooner than expected due to the new motorway, and arrived at 8 am instead of 3 pm. Nevertheless, the kind brothers running the hotel rearranged things to give us a room imediately, but first sat us down to their much-appreciated hot breakfast buffet. The family room my husband and I stayed in was bigger than we needed (a double and two singles), but families should take note that this hotel has family rooms this size.
