Nice small town motelPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff. Very comfortable beds. Clean room. Large bath.
Cons: Nothing. Quality room for the price.
Location: Nearby resturant.
Friendly staff. TV in room didn't work, even after manager tried to fix it, so he moved us to a room with a working TV.Very comfortable beds. We requested parking near the door as we are both handicapped. Handicap parking was right next to the front door.

"Clean, spacious, and budget friendly"Posted May 22, 2013
We stayed here for 4 nights as we were visiting relatives in Edna (8 miles away). I agree with a previous review that states other choices in the area are either too expensive or too poor a property (Edna- Best Western or America's Best Value Inn). I stayed at the America's Best Value Inn in Edna two years ago and this place blows that property out of the water. It is only two or three years old. We paid $79 a night for a King bed. The Best Western in Edna and most properties in Victoria are well over a $100 a night. If you don't mind a little drive- stay here. The staff is very nice, the rooms are spacious and have a flat panel TV. Bathrooms have granite or marble floors and counters. There is a fridge and microwave. They serve a complimentary lite breakfast. Pro's- a market is right next door. You can walk to a Mexican restaurant and a cafe which serves burgers and even a movie theater in only 5 minutes. It is well off the highway and is quiet. Take the 3rd floor- the hotel has an elevator. All rooms are non-smoking Con's- only two- you are near a train track so on occasion a train does come by and sound it's horn. The water pressure has a lot to be desired in the shower but the toliet is commercial and works great. Overall- I will stay here again when I make my next trip to South Texas. A great value.

clean, compfortable, and close to locationsPosted Apr 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our weekend stay was clean and comfortable and close to location of our family reunion on Lake Texana in Ganado. However, being awakened by a knock on the door at 8am to clean our room was unwelcomed. Then upon our return that evening, the room still had not been cleaned..
