Pros: Friendly staff
Very handy to use a centre to explore that part to France. Staff friendly & helpful. Breakfast good with a nice selection of food. Rooms basic but had all that you need. Security good with electric gate.

closure of restaurant

Posted Aug 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
Hotel was ok but on arrival we found the restaurant was not open and was in fact closed for a few weeks .We had had confirmation of booking from Holels .com only days before with no mention of the total lack of facilities for a meal on arrival.Due to the location there was no alternative eating places within walking distance and a visit to Nimes itself [some 6 miles away]by taxi costing £30 retun fare .we have used hotels .com several times in the past and were dissapointed that the important lack of information regarding meals was not given to us in advance to allow us to have changed our booking to a fully equiped hotel .

Campanile Nimes Caissargues

Posted Jan 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
We arrived at our Hotel near Nimes at 11:30 pm on Christmas night. Another car arrived just ahead of us, and we entered in its wake, so that we didn't have to use the hotel access code. Luckily! Because our friends who arrived 20 minutes later were not able to get in to the hotel -- the gate would not open even though they put in the right code. They also told me a young man climbed the fence and tried the code from inside the gate -- it still would not open constituting a fire and safety hazard for those locked inside. Imagine if someone had needed emergency medical care! Emergency phone numbers should be posted at the gate (at the very least), and someone should be on call around the clock.

Helpful staff, air conditioned rooms, very clean, eating facilities good, free wifi only negative was socket in room didn't work. Very convenient for Nimes/Garons airport and quick access to Nimes as well. Secure wth coded entry for the main gate. Stuated in a quiet area with pleasant well maintained grounds.
