What a beautiful stay in a stunning setting. The owner and staff were so welcoming and hospitable, the restaurant was so delicious, the rooms spacious and cool. Whoever designed the landscaping did such an amazing job. We were worried that our need for wifi would be affected being in such a remote area. No issues at all. Highly recommending staying there. We hope to return again.

Nice rooms, amazing grounds and pool
Really like this place - we had two interconnected rooms which was ideal for a family of four. Rooms are clean and comfortable but it is the beautiful grounds and three swimming pools which make it special. It’s a great location for Nîmes, Uzes and Avignon - this is our second visit and I hope not our last.

This was a random choice at the tail end of journey from Italy back to UK. It probably deserved more that one nights stay. The restaurant was excellent, as was the room, and facilities generally. The village was perfect for the Sunday morning stroll

Decent and quiet
L'Enclos des Lauriers Roses is in a small little town still within easy access of the motorway and shopping areas. Our reception was welcoming and friendly and we felt right at home after a long day's drive. Our room was also pleasant and we loved the quiet neighbourhood. We had no complaints during our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice family friendly hotel
The room was amazing. Separate bedrooms for parents and children. Parking was in front of the room. Access to 4 swimming pools (although the weather end of October was no longer warm enough to use them). Food was very good. The menu is not exhaustive but you are being served great quality food. The hotel is in a small village, ideal for a quiet holiday. Easy access to Pont du Gard and Nimes. In the village there is not much to do, no other restaurants. But it is a great area.

Country Hotel with Lovely Swimming Pools
Although our weather was a little cold (October) the hotel had three lovely swimming pools with lots of sunbeds and patio areas. Our room (Marjolaine) was very comfortable with usual amenities and benefited from a small balcony with table and chairs which overlooked the pool. We struggled a bit to find local restaurants which were open due to late season however we ate in the hotel restaurant on two occasions and the food was of a very high standard though not many diners as hotel was quiet. We would definitely return but earlier in season so we could uses magnificent pools!

Gorgeous
This place was gorgeous! The pictures don't do it justice. We were absolutely delighted when we arrived. The pools were a welcome end to our days. The gardens are beautiful, and the building have real charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Don't bother unless you want to sit round a pool
I was disappointed with the 80s decor in the rooms. Also the village is not a pretty one. Room was very large and clean.

Beautiful & relaxing - great place for day trips
Beautiful and relaxing after a long day of exploring the area. Great place, very friendly, great service and food. We found this on hotels.com, they gave the GPS coordinates which you will need to find this "out of the way" oasis. It is very close to many of the sites in Provence do you can easily do day trips to Pont de Gard, Nimes, Arles, etc. Very peaceful surroundings, not much in town, but the hotels offers great food. Air conditioning was welcome, free wifi

Great hotel close to Avignon and Nimes
We recently spend two nights here and I was very impressed with the size of the rooms, the lovely landscaping, privacy and service. It is more like a small holiday resort at the top of the hill in the village of Cabrieres. The bed was comfortable, you have your own private sitting out area, there are pools and a very good restaurant. Staff were helpful, giving us hints about things to do and see in the local area, and attending to an issue with the air-conditioner when we first arrived in a matter of minutes. Excellent find, really enjoyed the stay.

Had a wonderful fews days at this excellent hotel. Food was fantastic. Only regret was weather not good enough to take advantage of one of the pools.

This hotel experience could not have been better. The proprietor's hospitality was warm and welcoming. Our room in the newer part was charming. Dinner was a delightful experience. Our stay was not long enough. After many hectic travel days, this was the perfect place to relax and enjoy what the south of France has to offer.

The hotel has beautiful well kept grounds that surround the houses that have been tastefully converted into rooms and suites. Five good sized swimming pools add to your enjoyment. Our suite wasn't ready when we arrived early, so three cleaners were dispatched to get the room ready ASAP. They did a very good job leaving the suite gleaming. We ate in the hotel one night, probably the best meal of our holiday. The only let down was a lack of room service. The second night we had lunched in Nimes and only wanted a snack. the reception did manage to russle us up a sandwich however.

Small town, but central to the region
The hotel was good value, we had two rooms for the three of us and plenty of room. Easy spot to explore the region, only 10-15 minutes to the motorway. Beautiful spot.

We took 2 rooms. One of them was perfect with large balcony. The other was nice. Friendly and warm staff, great food and wines. No one speaks English besides one receptionist. Pitty!

An amazing find on our travels with our 3 children. Had a suite for a very good price - booked 2 hours before arrival. Had an amazing meal in the restaurant that evening and breakfast set us up for our day and travels ahead. Would stay again

Great Hotel but pricey Restaurant
We booked a room for a family of five which would have been a studio apartment, but the hotel upgraded us to a suite with 2 bedrooms and a large sitting area. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. There are flowers everywhere and each room was unique and each had its own outdoor table and chairs for a private drink or quick breakfast. My only complaint is the extreme expense of the restaurant. We broke down and ate one dinner there which was very good with large portions. However, we were charged $175 Euros for 2 adults and 3 children. We had a $20 Euro bottle of wine and the kids had water, so the average meal was $31 Euros. This was simply a main course and the kids got desert included with their meal. There are no other options in town to eat so prepare for an expense or a drive.
