We went as a couple to go climbing in the local area. The lodge was lovely with good views and good sized room. Breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly. We had a lovely relaxing stay.

“clean and pleasant”
The hotel was very warm and inviting. The staff offered suggestions for hikes and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel cat is very sweet also. Very clean with beautiful outdoor seating as well a great room inside.

“Just perfect!”
We loved this B&B. It was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The setting is beautiful, the accommodations are great, and the service is wonderful. Homemade cookies and coffee and tea service throughout the day are nice extras. We can't wait to go back!

“Overpriced.”
Not worth anywhere near what we paid for it.
Nice view of the cliffs near New Paltz and quite setting but outside of that, not much else.
Stayed Fri+Sat night and Sunday morning the hotel ran out of hot water... water was cold by the time my wife tried to shower at 10 am Sunday.
Room was nice enough but walls are a bit thin, could clearly hear the people upstairs + creaky floors.
Free continental breakfast was as basic as gets.. some fruit, OJ, english muffins, cereal and stale cinnamon bread.
Most of the staff was disinterested at best and didn't even ask 'how was your stay" or care when i complained about the lack of hot water.
This place has potential but wouldn't recommend it based on our stay.
