Very friendly and welcoming staff members. We had dropped off our luggage earlier in the day, and the staff already had our items in our room by the time we returned for check in. They were also very helpful for travel and food suggestions. The hotel is quite trendy, from the staff at reception to the wall decor in the hallways and room as well. The room itself was quite spacious considering its location in Paris, and well cleaned each day upon our return. The staff even put our toiletries in order for us each day! I would definitely return and stay here again should I need another hotel near Gare du Nord.

Seems like a recent conversion very tastefully done to a high quality and technical spec. The bedrooms are quite small though the beds and pillows are good and excellent bathrooms. No lift so you don't want to be much higher than the first floor with heavy cases, although they carried ours up for us. There's a nice Parisian street restaurant attached, and cheaper ones along the street. Not the most salubrious area. Staff are great.

Better than I expected. The room was a little bit small, but very clean and charming. Besides very convenient for transportation. The metro is only 20 meters from the hotel. The staffs were all kind and their services were immediate as well. Compared to the price, breakfast was very satisfactory. Not many foods, but necessary and nice foods. The only demerit is the room size. In conclusion, I strongly recommend this hotel.

Typical 3* hotel, but it is very modern in some aspects. My only real gripe was the location. Although the close transport links were great, the noise when the double glazed balcony windows were open was unbearable due to all the coaches from the Garde de Lest station terminal which was 24/7! The area seems a little run down too, but overal the experience was good, with friendly staff and a good level of comfort elsewhere.

Stayed here for overnight stop whilst travelling by train from London to Munich via Paris with my teenage son. 15 min walk from Gare du Nord and easy 5 min walk to get to Gare de l'Est next morning. Took evening walk down to Seine (25 mins) past Pompidou Centre. Very typical Parisian neighbourhood with cafes, shops etc. Not a rich area but felt safe coming back at midnight as so many people around. Nearby Metro stations. Nice to see so many people cycling - but remember to look out for them when you cross the cycle paths next to road.
Room comfortable with usual facilities plus fridge (except no tea/coffee/kettle in room which is normal in France but lots of cafes nearby). Only downside is the small bathroom had very modern but oversize basin with corner that was easy to catch on when using toilet, so beware! Woke up late so had breakfast in nearby cafe. Would definitely come here again and recommend to friends.

This is an area of transit, with two mainline stations and a dozen Métro links. Gare du Nord is the terminus for Eurostar and trains to Charles de Gaulle Airport. The main sights are glass and fan museums and the 17th-century archways of St-Denis and St-Martin. Ethnic shops, markets and restaurants on Boulevard du Strasbourg and Passage Brady ('Little India') and lively cafés along Canal St-Martin make atmospheric diversions.
