Hotel Pace - modest hotel with no pretentionPosted Jul 6, 2011 on Hotels.com
We spent 1 night there because my aunt who's old and has difficulty moving wanted to do a pilgrimage at Padre Pio. The hotel is small, rooms are also small (but clean) and bathrooms tiny, but it has no pretention of offering the services of a 4star hotel. It's very conveniently located at 100m from the santuary and the hotel can offer a shuttle service for disabled persons because it's a little slope to get there. Staff is very nice and courteous. Breakfast is minimal: toasts with jam, coffee and one croissant. Anyway, whoever goes there just wants to prey and find serenity.

Great locationPosted Oct 12, 2010
I am satisfied with the hotel especially great location. It is important to inquire how to get in to the hotel if one is planning to stay out past midnight especially on the eve of the Feast of St. Padre Pio. I came back and the front door was locked and I managed to get in by going to the nearby hotel which was still open and who kindly called and woke up the hotel's night person who was sleeping in the lobby.
