Close to the Smokeys!Posted Aug 25, 2014
We stayed here for 4 nights. Hotel room was clean and comfortable (albeit with a bathroom on the smaller side). Hotel breakfast was excellent and included many items to choose from, including waffles, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits etc.. Hotel is also located a couple of blocks away from the main stretch of tourist attractions and restaurants in Gatlinburg, so it was fairly quiet at night.

Nice hotel with a beautiful view of the river.Posted Aug 24, 2014
Cons: Room looked a bit old but was not diry.
Location: Walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. Trolley ride away from Pigeon Forge. Fanstastic location.
It was wonderful to be able to sit on the balcony, and at night leave the door open and hear the river.

Nice hotel on the river.Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: the location
Cons: Bed mattress,
Had a wonderful time staying in Gatlinburg, NC. We have stayed here the last two year. This is the first time we had to park in the lower deck. For safety there needs mirrors put up so you see if someone is entering when your exiting. The bed was a little to hard for me. But over all the hotel was great.

Too much road noisePosted Aug 19, 2014
Too much road noise on Gatlinburgh strip. Didn't sleep well. The hotel needs renevoations, kind of dated, but it was clean, staff was very friendly.

We loved this hotel and would stay again. It's close enough to the Gatlinburg strip to walk and it was nice and clean. Would recommend to anyone!

Great place to lay my head!Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: We love the location on the river!
Cons: The breakfast area was too tight.
Location: This hotel is located right beside a trolley stop, so that made getting to the main strip of Gatlinburg and to Pigeon Forge/Dollywood very convenient.
My entire family stayed at the Baymont this past weekend. Everyone knows the roads in Gatlinburg are busy, so we can't complain about that. But, what I can say is the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and the view of the river was awesome! My parents even left their balcony door open at night so they could listen to the water as they relaxed. The only thing I would change was the size of the breakfast area - it filled up quickly and was a tight squeeze, but the food was pretty good.

Nice hotel close to town. Trolly was great.Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: The balcony and the ease of the trolly
Cons: The room do need some updating. But they were clean and comfortable
Location: close to town, can walk but far. Take trolley back by 9 or there is a mad mad rush to get on the last one at the aquarium Ugly seen then
The hotel was nice and the staff was wonderful. We stayed for 5 days and some issues such as the door between the two rooms was broken. When they fixed it it wouldnt open. The beds were comfortable but squeaky, We asked for the sheets to be changed on Wednesday since they hadnt been changed, they werent changed until Thursday and we left Friday. The balcony was the best part of the room. We could sit in the evening and listen to the water. We did not use the pool but it was small probably more than you need. For the deal I got online, it was a nice place.

The perfect long walkPosted Aug 4, 2014
The hotel was a very good bang for the buck. A little far off the strip but defiantly took advantage of the free trolly. The beds were pretty uncomfortable but the river view and fantastic free breakfast made up for it.

Great value for the money!Posted Jul 29, 2014
Loved the room and the sound of the river through the balcony door. Property is older but well kept, and the staff is very helpful. Close to trolley stop and plenty of parking. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel on riverPosted Jul 27, 2014
The staff was great, everyone we met was smiling and courteous. The breakfast was really good, but the eating area is a bit small. Location was wonderful, maybe half a mile to "the strip." Overall great place to stay.
