“Comfortable and affordable!”

The motel was very comfortable with large rooms and very affordable. It was clean and updated. The staff were very good to us and made checking in easy. However, the lady that was on the morning we checked out seemed to be in a bad mood with a frown on her face. That didn't damper anything though. I would definitely recommend this motel to everyone. Also, the deluxe continental breakfast was very good. Selections were many and the food was fresh.

We've stayed in Townsend before, but this hotel is by far the best in the area for your money. The breakfast is all carbs, but there is a great little restaurant nearby.

“The Peaceful Side of the Smokies”

That is the slogan for Townsend Tennessee. We enjoyed being closer to Cades Cove, and avoiding all of the crowds that one must contend with at Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The free continental breakfast was not half bad. They even had waffles. The beds were extra comfy. That was a surprise to me for a budget priced hotel. If you want to come here to see the Smoky Mountains and bypass all of the tourists traps, this is the place you are looking for.

“I'll be back again and again!!!”

Really enjoyed our stay here as we visited the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The room was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Can't say enough good about the quality of the room - microwave and decent size fridge in room. Front Desk was very nice and the entire process went very smoothly. The only negative thing I can say is the WiFi is more like dial-up speed - seriously, it was extremely slow. But it's not surprising given it's location and the amount of people staying there, etc. Might be better at off-peak times as I've found with a lot of other hotels.

“20 minutes from the crowds”

great place only issue was small parking lot,only single spaces .slight problem for my full size truck with 14 ft motorcycle trailer.

“hard beds”

Stayed one night before and two nights after a camping trip. Matresses were quite thin and hard, even before sleeping on the ground! But a good basic place to stay, and front office staff was friendly. Microwave and fridge in room, so be sure to bring food from Maryville since not much else around. Tried two restaurants - unsucessfully - but thankfully Subway is right across the street!

“great fall motel”

Very couteous upon arriving and room was clean and comfortable, with straightned up daily with makingg of the bed and clean towels etc. Great area, close to roads we really enjoy during the fall season.
