Our Clarion stay in GatlinburgPosted Aug 30, 2014
The room was very nice.. Clean.. Hotel staff was very nice. We only had coffee the next morning but the breakfast looked great. The only negative was the work out room. Old equipment. Very warm. Overall a good experience. Great location on the Gatlinburg Strip and close to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park.

Bad bad smell on 2nd floor that radiated into roomPosted Aug 19, 2014
Went for a weekend getaway Aug 15th. First thing I noticed was a bad smell on 2nd floor that radiated into room, not sure what it was but smelt like mold. Breakfast was good, rooms ok, bed comfortable which is important . Mold on balcony door and on balcony. Great location, close to everything

Better daysPosted Jul 21, 2014
Cons: Friendliness of the staff
Location: Chair Lift- Gatlinburg tram- Great Smokey Mountains National Park
When we got in the lobby the receptionist was on the phone and did not acknowledge us finally a second person came and helped us check in. We had ask for a street side room but no mention was made of our request. They had breakfast from 7:00am till 10:00 am. We went down about 8:45 am and they were already out of some selections. The room was clean but the lobby smelled bad.

Perhaps the best on the stripPosted Jun 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great breakfast of made-to-order omelets, waffles, grits, sausage (not as good), and fried potatoes...along with all the normal hotel breakfast food such as cereal and bread and such. Room was adequate and beds were comfortable. Wallpaper and bathroom were both slightly in need of cleaning or upgrading. Location is nice as you can walk easily to anything in Gatlinburg. I really really dislike the "Resort fee" charged. If it were included in the price of the room I would not be against it, but it always feels like a scam when they charge you there at the door.

good locationPosted Jun 18, 2014
Pros: Parking was away from the general tourist traffic. Breakfast was a little slow getting started but sure didn't leave hungry.
Cons: The hallways had no ventilation and smelled bad. The balcony door handle was very loose.
Location: Great location at the end of the main street. very easy to just walk one side of the street and then the other side back to the hotel.
great parking. Nice rooms and clean linen. priced very competitive for the area.

Cons: More attentive to public restrooms in the lobby
Location: Great location. Walking distance to anything
The shower curtain smelled soured. The breakfast was GREAT!! I had to ask for soap twice for the public restroom in the lobby. The front desk didn't care if they helped you or not.
