Room was decent and clean, it is an older hotel, so it's nothing fancy. I enjoyed the balcony that over-looks the river, and the conveinance of being able to walk directly to the down-town area. There is also a trolley stop in front of the hotel if you would rather ride than walk. The "room service" was not the best, we left out about 1030am, and when we returned that evening, we had no clean towels and dirty ones were still in the floor. The pool was clean, they even have a small "kiddie" pool, and a hot tub. Overall, it was good for the pricing.

Family vacation

Pros: Like having the Trolley stop right by hotel. Made it easy to go back and forth to downtown area. Pool was nice.
Cons: more breakfast options, like waffles. maybe update decor
Location: Smokey Mountains, downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge
Well, the hotel, compared to others, seems outdated. Clean for the most part. Did not realize room doors were outside, so like a motel. Booked 2 rooms months in advance of trip. When we arrived, one room was still occupied, so we were given another. But would have been nice to have both rooms next to each other, especially with such advance booking notice. Breakfast buffet was OK. Many other options in the tow to go and try!!

NOT VERY SATISIFED

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: CONVENIENCE
Cons: EVERYTHING
Location: CONVENIENT TO DOWNTOWN. LIKED HAVING TROLLEY TO TRANSPORT
THIS HOTEL NEEDS A LOT OF UPDATING. LOTS OF THINGS WERE VERY RUN DOWN, FURNITURE IN ROOM, AC VENTS WERE VERY DIRTY AND JUST OVERALL A NEW FACELIFT.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff.

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Price and location.
Cons: Modernizing would help.
Location: Convenient to Pigeon Forge and to the main street in Gatlinburg. Went to Dollywood and The Island, and into the Smokey Mountains.
The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The room was big enough for the two of us, the bathroom was very small but worked okay for two. Wi Fi and cable worked great. Could use a little updating, but most Gatlinburg hotels are older and show signs of wear. The breakfast was not the greatest, but okay. Would recommend and would stay there again. Tram service made touring convenient.

I can relax here.

This is an older hotel but it offers a pleasant staying experience. I'm not picky and am okay with the older decor and furnishings, but the location is what sells me on this place. A short 10 minute walk has you right in the middle of Gatlinburg but the hotel is pretty calm and quite. I don't stay anywhere else these days! Always here!

Dirty and unkempt

Rude staff, dirty room and unkempt hotel. Plenty of other accommodations just as close in this same price range that are nicer and don't have rude staff.

Nice hotel with great view

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Everything!! Room was clean. Superb view, friendly staff.
Cons: Once again, the only issue we found was that the refrigerator in the room did not get real cold.
Location: Right at the end of the strip in Gatlinburg. Not as noisy as many motels would be from the crowds in the streets but yet close to everything.
The only problem we had with the room was that the refrigerator in the room did not cool real well. Other than that, everything was great! We were going to be late checking in so I called the hotel and informed them. They worked with us completely and insured this would not be an issue. It wasn't. We found the room itself to be clean and well kept. Loved the view from the balcony! At night, sitting on the balcony watching the river as the water hits the rocks was very relaxing. Breakfast would have been ok if we had ate. But our attitude was that we were on our first vacation together, so we were going to enjoy our food rather than settle. Hotel staff were very friendful and helpful. Even offered suggestions as to where to eat and what to do. We will most definitely be staying at this hotel again soon!

Great Location

Posted May 12, 2015
Decent place to stay bathroom was a little on the small side. Beautiful view of the river from balcony. Close to everything, it literally took us all of 5 minutes to walk to the aquarium. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family!
