Great Place to RelaxPosted Jan 16, 2015
We loved Deer Ridge Mountain Resort! Way up high in the mountains. Secluded yet a short drive to bustling Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The pool complex was an oasis on those cold winter days. Warm pavilion, warmer pool, still warmer, very clean hot tub, as well as a steam room and a Swedish sauna. Great place for couples and families. Our condo was very comfortable and well furnished. It was even decorated for Christmas/ Winter Holiday. Wonderful bargain! We are telling all our friends about it and planning a return trip. You should make plans to come!

Beautiful view and wonderful personellPosted Jan 7, 2015
Pros: Exceptional view and all amenities for the room were there. Plenty of towels , toilet paper, etc.
Location: Location is 20 min out of Gatlinburg which we liked. Overlooks golf coarse and beautiful mountain view, quiet. Had a good "things to do" note book.
Bed was comfortable. Couch was pull out bed so as most people would know. not that comfortable, but passable.

Nice and clean.Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: Comfortable, clean, safe and the price was right. Loved the full kitchen.
Cons: The pull out mattress on the sofa bed was useless.Very old, felt every spring. Not good if you were planning on more than one person on sofa bed.
Location: Gatlinburg is amazing. There's something for everyone. Beautiful location, great hiking and history, lots to do in town for the young and old.
Our stay at Deer Ridge was a wonderful experience. Friendly, helpful staff, clean and comfortable room and the view from our room was amazing. I would stay here again.

Amazing viewPosted Jan 5, 2015
I was the best experience of my life. Clean, beautiful perfect for a family vacation. I went with my husband and my two kids 3 years old and 5 months and we all four enjoy the resort. They have washer and dryer in case you need to wash your clothes. Blow dryer and the bathroom was perfectly clean. The kitchen have all what you need in case you need to cook and the best important you feel secure. They have security 24/7. And the best Smoky Mountain view. Just amazing vacations.

Gorgeous viewPosted Jan 5, 2015
Front desk hospitality was second to none. New Years eve celebration was a pleasant surprise. Facilities were clean and cozy but a little dated. I am an avid runner and hiker and was challenged by the terrain running from the resort and loved the closeness to the trails.

Brought in the New Years with stylePosted Jan 4, 2015
Pros: Location and nice facility.
Cons: Unless you can manage the fog, nothing really.
I stayed here with the kids (15 and up). We were on a family vacation to bring in the New Year watching the ball drop in Gatlinburg. The hotel was located in a good area and the facility was nice.

Our Stay at Deer Ridge MountainPosted Jan 4, 2015
We were bummed at first at how far away the resort is from down town Gatlinburg but that was my fault for not doing enough research. Once we got there, we were impressed by the view and the staff was very friendly. The condo was outdated but pretty clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great view, dangerous road. I recommend it.Posted Jan 4, 2015
This hotel is a good hotel with a great view, but the way to get to the top of the mountain is very dangerous specially on winter, raining days and snow cam be very dangerous to get the hotel, if the for some reason u cannot get to the hotel for weather situation money is not refundable. They should have light on the way to the hotel. Road is very dark. But if you drive carefully there will be no problem at all. Views are great. Good value. I paid $625 for 4 nights from Dec 29 - Jan 2. I recommended but not in winter.
