“Great Location but needed a big Dusting”
We loved the location because it was quiet and out of the busy town. The place we stayed in was decorated nicely and cute but it was super dusty and the mattress needs to be updated. We slept horribly but overall enjoyed the space of the condo!
“Wonderful Stay”
What a great resort!! The rooms were beautiful and relaxing. We weren't in any hurry to leave the place to go do the touring. The Fall/Thanksgiving decorations were incredible.
“Awesome View”
We would go back again. Very very nice people, very clean room, AWESOME VIEW .
“Great time”
Beautiful surroundings, defiantly plan on going back. Felt at home.
“Wonderful Place with Cool Price!”
I did not expect pretty much when I reserved Deer Ridge, but now I wanna strongly recommend Deer Ridge. Sightseeing of every morning is the best of the best. Although my family spent some days with the half price of that of luxury cabins, the satisfaction of my family is more than any cabins'.
“"One of the best vacations I have ever had".”
This was the first time my husband and I stayed at the Deer Mountain Resort. I found it on the internet and was really impressed with it. It was a "real trip" getting to it, we stayed four nights and one night had a romantic time with a roaring fire in the fireplace, a home cooked dinner and candles--it was awesome. We really enjoyed our stay with Deer Mountain.
“Great place”
My mother and aunt stayed at this resort for their retirement celebratory trip. They were super impressed with the layout. It is very rare in our experience to have a 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms. The suite was well equipped with all everything they could possibly need, and they had a very comfortable stay. Also, my mother has some mobility issues and does not maneuver stairs very well. The resort was very accommodating of our request of a first floor suite.
“Smoky Mtns Best View”
First class location, just outside Gatlinburg. Close to tourist attractions but far enough away to enjoy the WONDERFUL view of the mountains without the noisy tourists. My only complaint: The bathroom was not as clean as I had hoped: I found a collection of long dark hair on the bathroom floor. I guess I could have used the vacuum cleaner in the condo to clean it up...but I was on vacation and I clean at home not when I am on vacation. However, that was a very minor flaw. If you like the convenience of having a kitchen, bed room, and living room (including fireplace) as well as the wonderful scenic view of the mountains this is it. We were busy hiking so we never used the hot tub, heated pool, or pool billiard table but they looked clean and barely used---apparently everyone else was hiking too or playing golf. Be prepared for a steep and curvy climb up the mountains to reach this resort---but it is definitely worth the drive! We hope to be back next fall for another spectacular fall.
“NO CONDO FOR US”
The condo in which we stayed, to sleep, and shower was totally to much for our use of it. If you would use it for all yours daily living, for the price it was unbeatable. We would have to travel a hour round trip to get to the nearest sights, and eating places. If you want a place to get away from everything, this would be the place. The check-in clerk, Jamie, was very friendly, and professional, he invited us to their Oct. Fest, for music, and foods.
“The most beautiful view of the mountains...will return!”
the view is absolutely amazing, it is a good distance from the attractions but well worth the ride.
