“Great Deal here”

Great Hotel. Beautiful rooms, service, and price. This is a great choice if you are visiting Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. I highly recommend.

“Happily Surprised”

Had a very pleasant stay. I was somewhat leary of staying at an Econolodge, but WOW what a pleasant surprise! Pool and Hot Tub were nice. The breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean. Would certainly stay there again.

“Hotel”

The hotel was nice and clean. We has two rooms and they have been updated and very clean. Housekeeping cleaned very well on a daily basis. The pool is not big and is very crowded in the evening. Breakfast is great! The serve a hot breakfast that includes: biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, and much more. The river is nice to go set or have cook out. We would stay again

“Spring night away.”

Nice staff, room comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. Convenient location, beautifully landscaped. Liked visiting the river behind it to feed and watch the ducks. Only negative was using the over-crowded pool (not hotel's fault - no parental supervision!) Complained to front desk and staff came to speak to some of the teens. Would stay here again.

“Pleasantly surprised!!”

Stayed here over springbreak for 3 nights & was shocked at how nice it was for the price! The reviews were totally right! It was perfect having a microwave & frig in the room! Definetly have a meal at Mel's diner just down the road!!

“Tranquility at Econolodge-Pigeon Forge”

From the time we entered, we noticed a friendly atmosphere. It seemed that everything had been done to insure a pleasant stay for us.

“stay in April 2012”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for just one night b/c another hotel we had previously booked, was of course, booked solid. We enjoyed this hotel very much. We arrived very late that night. The desk attendant was very nice. We had a couple of questions regarding the surrounding area, and she was helpful to point out where we could find the information. She gave detailed instructions as to how to find the hotel room, where breakfast would be provided, and the other usual room advisories. When we got to our room, it was very clean, and everything looked to be well maintained. The bed was extra comfortable [actually more comfortable than the other hotel's bed that we stayed at!]. The pillows were a mixture of soft and hard [which was nice]. We were able to adjust the temperature to a comfortable setting. Breakfast was very nice with biscuits/gravy, cereal, scrambled eggs, muffins, bagels, toast, and of course juices/coffee. The gravy was very very delicious. Our room was outside the main hotel, and wasn't bad. Though our stay was short, we would stay there again for sure. After our trip, my husband and I decided that we would probably stay there over our other hotel's room.

“Clean”

It is a very clean hotel. I'm a clean freak and I have never been to a room that I did(or my husband) did in this room and it wasnt even needed I'm just a germ freak!! Will defiantly stay there again.

“Great hotel, great staff, great everything.”

We have been to many Econo Lodges, and most were very good value for money, but this one was excellent. It is the nicest of any of them. It is situated right on the river, and right in the center of everything. I cannot say anything bad about it.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

The hotel name Econo Lodge made me a bit worried about what condition the hotel would be in. I was pleasantly surprised. First the only con, the hotel's setup is a bit confusing. There are these half flights of stairs and various inside/outside walkways and doors that you have to go through to get to your room. It can be very confusing. Now for the pro's, the staff are simply wonderful. They take the time to stop and answer your questions or to pay you a compliment. They are wonderful and helpful. We called for extra towels and within a minute, housekeeping knocked on our door with the towels. I lost my cell phone in the pool area, within five minutes of telling a maintenance guy, he found my phone (at the bottom of the hot tub, no less). Checking out was simple. The room had an adequate amount of space. The bathroom was clean and simple. The rooms look just like the pictures online. PLEASE NOTE that this hotel does not scrimp on hot water. I had the knob in the middle on the sink and nearly scalded my hands. Be sure to turn the knob towards the cold water end... The parking lot backs up to what is called a river, but really is no bigger than a creek. It's peaceful and beautiful. The breakfast is good. The pool area is nice and clean. I would recommend that the hotel put a timer on the hot tub so that some people don't monopolize it.
