“Old reliable”

This hotel is centrally located in Pigeon Forge making travel to any location minimal. The staff is always friendly and available when needed.

“comfortable room but Hotel an eye sore”

The hotel it self is an eye sore, but the space in the room and the comfort and where it is located was great. It looks like the hotel is going through some renovations but there were no signs saying that, I was scared to use the elevator and used the stairs. I would tell people about it but also tell them to look at other places.

“You get what you pay for”

The main lobby smelled like someone was continuously smoking a cigarette, so we tried to avoid the lobby. The locks to the doors were very old, which scared me just a bit. The room itself, however, was nice since we only planned to use it for sleeping. Also, the website said that we had a free continental breakfast which turned out to be false. It was a two dollar breakfast of your choice of either all-you-can-eat pancakes or biscuit and gravy (not both). You also had to drive across the street to get it. Since we were students simply needing a cheap room, this sufficed. However, if I am a family traveling, this is NOT the place to stay.

“GO SOMEWHERE CLEANER”

MAY 2010. Hotel looked basic outisde, with dirty sign. Greeting was excellent by gentleman. Bed and pillows were comfy (I like soft pillows), and had fridge and microwave. Lights between beds did not work. Carpet was dirty as my feet were black walking on the carpet just a few times. Edges of carpet, especailly leading to bathroom were thick with dust. Behind toilet there was lots of soil-like dirt, not sure what it was. Had to wake up girl for breakfast at 8:55am as she was on a normal 24 hour shift and was asleep. Breakfast had to be taken to room, being doughnuts (obviously bought on a different day), orange juice and coffee. Could get a free biscuit and gravy breakfast across the street if desired, as long as we paid for a drink, but was not worth the effort. Apart from using the fridge, and the comfy soft bed, (soft from usage), we would not recommend this hotel to anyone because of the uncleanliness of the rooms. The dirty sign outside should have hinted to us that the rooms would be no better. Each morning, around 3-4am, the dumpsters across the street would be emptied, which was very noisy. Only good point really is that it is located in an area fairly close to the Old Mill craft area, and also the trolley bus terminal, (about a 25 minute walk). I would recommend a trolley bus journey to Gatlinburg, rather than paying so much to park, and parking at the trolley bus terminal is actually free in Pigeon Forge.

“Overbooked??”

Very upset with the fact that I reserved the room 3 months in advance and when I checked in I was told that they had overbooked and I was going to have to stay at one of their other locations. The second motel was extremely old, smelled of smoke and the door knob was falling off & they wouldn't repair it! It was a bad experience & I never plan on staying there again!

“Never stay this hotel, stay away!!”

This hotel is Old. Picture on the Web site looks good but it is nasty, lack of maintenance. When I started going to outside elevator, it is stink and so much dust and trash was in elevator. In my mind, I though I should never book this hotel. The first room they gave to us the door was broken off from door. so we went back to front to ask to give us another room. The manger said, customer does not respect, so we do not respect,,, what kind of mangemente style is that??!! I wanted get out from here. The second room was stink, and bathroom light does not work, all furniture are outdated, it's looks like more than 30years old. Comforter cover had tored. Expedia, please take this hotel from your list. This is Terrible, Nasty, Stinky hotel.
