Close to MANY attractions.

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Close to attractions.
Cons: Staff friendliness/helpfulness, available facilities, breakfast quality. If it cost the hotel more, charge more! We who appreciate niceties pay more.
Location: Far, FAR too many thing near by to list! Anyone visiting that wants to take in local attractions and culture will not be at a loss for things to do.
Check-in/check-out was quick and easy. The room was comfortable and received maid service daily. Yes, WiFi is prevalent these days, but an actual ethernet connection for more stable service (like most other hotels) would be nice. Also, the free WiFi is slower than ANY residentially available broadband service. The LTE from my phone was LITERALLY 10 times faster when tested using Ookla speedtest. They obviously keep it slow to encourage you to purchase their "premium" service at an additional daily rate. A little sneaky. The variety at breakfast was plentiful, but left something to be desired in the flavor and quality department. Even though I was NOT asking for special treatment and was willing to pay the difference, the staff would not let me move to a larger room that WAS available and empty for 3 of my 4 nights (verified by their online reservation system) because of upcoming reservations that weekend. (We left on a Friday morning.) Apparently, they're okay with letting rooms sit empty when they could be making more money. Especially, when you're locked into a room/rate and risk paying the entire fee anyway if you leave for a nicer/bigger hotel. Lastly, one washer and one dryer for a hotel with hundreds of rooms (6 floors) is just insufficient. No other way to put it.

Great stay!

Pros: Just about everything!
Cons: the bed
Location: Centrally located to EVERTHING!! Restaurants, entertainment, anything and everything is right there!!
This a definite 'return visit' hotel! Great location, clean rooms, AWESOME staff (especially Ralph!)...I would recommend this place to anyone! The only negative is our bed wasn't as comfortable as it could've been. Other than that, it was perfect!

Issues were resolved quickly

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Central location, cleanliness
Location: Located across from the Titanic museum, Hatfield & McCoy dinner theatre, Wonderworks area in Pigeon Forge.
We stayed here for a long weekend. The hotel is in a great, central location and everything about it is clean. It's across the street from the "Titanic" area. Plenty of parking, clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Fruits, cereals, some hot food, waffles, pastries, oatmeal and yogurt. Upon arrival, our room was cold and we couldn't get the heat on. Called downstairs, and within 5 minutes, the Manager was knocking on our door. He looked at everything, called maintenance and they could not figure out why it wasn't working as it was a brand new unit. After checking everything, the Manager simply told the guy to replace the whole thing. They seriously brough up another brand new unit and replaced it quickly. Worked perfect after that. We also decided to stay an extra day, and they were very accommodating to find us a room (a snow storm was coming). In the late afternoon, they have fresh cookies and cider. Coffee and tea is available 24/7. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and Clean

Posted Feb 16, 2015 on Hotels.com
We have found that we really enjoy Hampton Inn hotels, so we have recently stayed at a few. This was a very nice hotel and surprisingly quiet for the location near a busy intersection. We had to leave before our second overnight due to the weather, so I was disappointed we were not offered a partial refund or maybe extra Hilton Honors points, but I would recommend this hotel.
