Very clean and modern with good bed, tv ok and good management company. We stayed at the "Lovers Retreat" small one bed cabin. In nice little community and appears at first not very private and small, but it's just for two people and very nice inside. The privacy on the back deck with the hot tub made it perfect. Very quiet overall and we are going back....only about a mile or so out of "town" but still close to most things. Only takes about five minutes to get to anywhere.....

“Best experience ever for this seasoned traveler”

I fly 80 to 100k miles per year, and stay in hotels 150+ nights. This was my best experience ever in a hotel, suite or condo. The two bedroom condo that we stayed in would have easily cost 500k to build. Absolutely beautiful! Private bath in each bedroom, jacuzzi tub in each bedroom at the foot of the bed (hence the "naughty pines" moniker), large hot tub on the back deck (more "naughty pines"), flat screen TV in each bedroom, large TV with DVD and surround sound in the living room! Complete kitchen, you don't need to bring ANYTHING. Wireless internet was fast and easy to hook up to. We saw two bears and 1 deer while we were there....one of the bears came into our "backyard" and gave us quite a show one evening. We plan to take our entire family back in the future. If there were a 6 star rating, I would give it that. Truly amazing experience. I don't see how anyone could leave this property and not be saying, "wow".

We stayed in the "above the mist" 3 bedroom cabin, and it was amazing! It was very clean easy to find and close to restaurants and a grocery store. My family absolutely loved it and we WILL be going back again to Hickory Mist! The employees were very friendly and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. My wife and I are teachers and it was a much needed relaxing vacation for us and our 3 children (11, 7, and 2) before we had to return to the classroom. Again thanks to Expedia and Hickory Mist!!!

“Cabin In The Hills”

The location of the Cabin was great. In the hills with no neighbors, AWESOME. Everything in the Cabin was great, from the Fireplace to the Hot tub. The only this that was a little bothersome was the service when checking in. Not very friendly, didn't ask anything about where we were from, why we picked them, have you ever been here before, nothing. But would definately go to the Cabins again.
