“The place to stay in Gatlinburg”

We were very pleased with this place to stay. The room is like having your own studio apartment and the pool area was very nice. Will definately stay here on our next trip to Gatlinburg.

“Comfortable hotel room”

beautiful, comfortable room. Complete kitchen, which was nice since we had small children and could prepare food. There was no daily maid service, which I guess I didn't understand when I booked this hotel. You were expected to wash your own towels (room did come with a washer and dryer and soap). Twice I called to the front desk and got no answer but overall staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice pool, indoor and outdoor. Elevators are very slow, be prepared to wait, especially for checkout. Overall, great hotel, I would come back!

Area recommendations

Smoky mountains was just breathtaking. Definitely take a hike, even a short one, to appreciate the full beauty of the area. Mellow Mushroom -- good pizza. Try the moonshine - wow, strong!

Events and shows

Dixie Stampede--outstanding! I originally thought this show was going to be really hokey but two other friends who attended told me to go. It was great! I took my 3 boys, ages 14, 12, 7 to the show and they generally do not like cowboys, horses, or anything Southern. They loved this show! The food was really good -- you eat without utensils, which my 7 year old thought was hilarious! Servers were very good.

“Gatlinburg's Finest”

We normally stay at Bent Creek Golf resort but they were overbooked for the week, but our alternative hotel was AMAZING!!! The staff was great and very helpful, the hotel was really really nice and we had a wonderful view from our balcony and we were so close to the atttractions that we did not have to move our car unless we were traveling to Pigeon Forge.

“Very happy customer...”

I was pleasantly surprised with our room. It was quite spacious, comfortable, and had quite a few amenities... A VERY nice place to stay during our trip to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. The only draw back was that you could hear weird/strange water sounds in the walls. I assume it was drainage from other rooms.

“Great weekend getaway”

This was a great place to stay! Staff at the hotel were friendly and attentive. Please be aware that this is a "time share" type of hotel. You will not receive continental breakfast or room service. The hotel is in an excellent location though, with many restaurants within a short walking distance.
