Could not look out the window air conditioner unit blocking it. Carpet had lots of stains. The furniture is old . The beds were terrible . The breakfast was ok. I've stayed in Holiday Inn Express before and never had this experience. This Hotel needs a major upgrade. Also the pool area chlorine smell was so strong we couldn't swim.

Don't stay here!

The air conditing did not work. The hotel front desk was rude and uncooperative. The hotel needs either repairs or demolition.

Steamy bathroom

The accomodations were at best descent. Staff friendly but not helpful. The bathroom was so steamy for two hours after 10 minute shower made it unusable. Called for repair twice with no resolution. Asked for refund and was told they would fix issue.

Fulfilled the necessary

It was a good stay overall, although the rate seemed a bit high for the off season. The only real complaint I would have is that the a/c compressor kicked on and off literally every 4 minutes which affected our sleep. Since that is the main purpose of staying in the hotel, I would not consider this small. However, the weather was pleasant enough that we just turned the unit on fan only and survived. Not sure that would work in July or August. Otherwise, good breakfast area and nice accommodations.

Good hotel for the price

Pros: breakfast buffet, indoor pool.
Cons: exhaust fan in bathrooms
Location: too many things to list, great location
staff was professional, friendly, helpful. Our stay was comfortable and pleasing.

So much for getting rest at this place

Was over all satisfied with the location and room however; the second night there was a lot of noise outside the room that awakend us three times and to only find out it was YOUR staff making the noise at 5:30 in the morning. The next thing was that the cleaning lady came by the room pounding on the door at 9:30 am in the morning. She said she was there to clean the room DESPITE regular check out at 12 and we had an extended check out for 2 pm??? She refused to take responsibility saying we should have put the do not disturb sign on the door. REALLY? Are you Serious? So because the sign was not out your staff cannot check the front desk to see if the guest have left yet, so they have to pound on the door and then say it is YOUR GUEST FAULT! This is so wrong and unprofessional!! I thought going to a hotel was to rest and relax when you can. So much for "I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express" and ready to take on the next day. Yea, a 5 hour drive home after being awakend at 5:30 am and then againby YOUR CLEANING STAFF at 9:30 am. Hope she got the room cleaned okay and got off work on time. Sincerely, frustrated and will not be back at this hotel. Oh and forgot to mention there was harldy any hot water when taking a shower. Water was warm at best.

I enjoyed our stay very much. We have stayed at the hotel several times in he past and have always been satisfied. It is very clean and comfortable; our favorite hotel in Pigeon Forge!
