“you get what you paid for”

You get what you paid for. The rooms were large and the beds were comfy. The refrigerator and microwave were nice in the room. Lights for desk and alarm clock were not pluggede in to receptacle,had to move bed out of way, to plug in.

“Hotel Pigeon Forge”

I would stay at this hotel again. But, I would take my own pillows next time. A king size bed with three very thin dirty looking pillows kind of turned me off. But, overall, the stay was pleasant. The staff really was wonderful and accommodating. Very friendly. The breakfast was just so so.

Area recommendations

This hotel is convenient. Most all the hotels in Pigeon Forge are convenient to everything. The traffic would be a nightmare to most people. Just be patient.

Getting there

Coming from the North Carolina area...be aware of traffic construction on Interstate 40 (early 2010) . You will need to reroute and it takes an extra hour or so. The drive thru Cherokee and into the mountains is quite pleasant.

Shopping

EVERYTHING can be found in this town.

Dining

There is absolutely everything to eat in this town. Finding food is not a difficult task here.

Family-friendly activities

Absolutely everything is family friendly. Clean humor in the shows. Lots of arcades, attractions, and things for the kids to do. But, make sure your wallet is padded nicely.

Nightlife

I can't say that there really is much of a nightlife here. Even Ruby Tuesdays doesn't serve anything beyond beer and wine.

Events and shows

There are plenty of choices. Not to offend anyone with this comment. But, it's quite the Christian based environment in pretty much all of these shows.
