Room was not as appeared on the internet.

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: It was roomy. I liked the vanity being separate from the toilet and tub.
Cons: The towels, pillows and mattress, sheets and air conditioner.
Location: Had to drive to the main attractions.
There was mold or mildew around the sink and the faucet was partially clogged and the water sprayed sideways.

Clean, close to everything, wonderful staff

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: It was comfortable and affordable with friendly staff
Cons: They could update the lobby a bit, but that really is superficial
Location: Close to everything- 8 min from Dollywood, 5 min from Dixie Stampede, Hard Rock Café, Titanic Museum, Hatfield and McCoy Dinner and Bennetts
The hotel we what I expected; affordable, clean and while not extravagant, it served its purpose- a quiet clean safe place to go to sleep and get cleaned up during our stay. Billy- the front office receptionist, was exceptional. He took a lot of time to recommend the best attractions and even showed us YouTube videos of some of those attractions, All staff was very friendly! The free breakfast was donuts, biscuits and gravy, cereal, oatmeal, canned fruit, and bagels. Some may call it limited but we found it to be just fine for a free meal at an affordable hotel. We had a great view of the city as the hotel sits up a hill away from the busy street- I could see it being an issue in icy conditions but they may have remedy for that. We were never more than 5 minutes or so from any of the main attractions in Pigeon Forge. Overall we had a great experience and nothing about the hotel dampened our stay. If you are looking for the Ritz then keep looking. But if you need a friendly, clean, quiet place to stay, then you found it!

Hotel Pigeon Forge

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: PRICE! MOUNTAIN VIEW, SWIMMING POOL.
Cons: updated furniture, tv in rooms.` breakfast was mainly cerial, fruit, toast nothing special. Bed were small.
The experience at this hotel was pleasant. Nothing really to brag about but it fit within our budget. It looks like it was a baymont INN when it was first built, but then the name has changed a few times.

Very Comfortable Stay

Posted Jun 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was more than friendly and hospitable-- a mom & pop business feel. The accommodations are comfy--there's not the cold & detached environment of a typical hotel chain. Once at the hotel, I asked about the possibility of upgrading to a jacuzzi suite; the front desk showed us the room before we purchased the upgrade-- we were very impressed with the customer service. Our bed was also the most comfortable hotel bed I have experienced. The only things that were a challenge for us: getting in and out of the hotel (there's a lot of traffic and no light) and we had a low internet signal if we were both using our laptops/tablets. However, without question, we will book here in the future when we visit the area again.

Thank you for your comments; we are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed our hospitality. Our beds are a winner, as we have upgraded recently to all new mattresses & box springs! We also are working toward a traffic light on the parkway. Also, we just recently upgraded our Wi-Fi and we have a much better signal throughout. We look forward to seeing you in the future

Good Over-Nighter

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: convenient locations
Cons: A few more sidewalks
Location: There is a RMS Titanic museum just down the street. This was the reason I visited
The Hotel Pigeon Forge is an excellent place to spend the night when you have plans for the next day. The rooms are comfortable; and the amenities do not over do it. The facilities are all centrally located for convenient use. The hotel itself is located on the main drag and is convenient to all major attractions in the town.

Worth the price, when on sale

Posted May 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotels.com was having a sale on this hotel so if we had paid full price, my opinion would be different but paying under $100 a night made the stay more enjoyable. The room had issues like light above the sink didn't work, cigarette burns in a recliner in the room (just take the chair out), ac knobs acted up. Hotel could use some sprucing up around the grounds. Would stay here again for under $100 a night. But if the normal rate is $125 a night then no, would not.

Memorial Weekend Stay

Posted May 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
Everything was ok. Just a simple motel, nothing fancy. A place to sleep, we did enjoy the pool area. We had tickets to attend a concert at Country Tonight and this is why we booked this motel....Country Tonight is within easy walking distance. You need to fix the door on room# 111. It looks like someone tried to break into it at some point & it shook a little more than I liked!!!
