Great place to stay!!

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: The pillows were not very comfortable, but then again, there are no pillows like your own :)
Location: Perfect location. In the middle of everything. The new shopping place "The Island" was just behind our hotel, walking distance.
Our hotel was very clean and nice. Great breakfast, staff, pool, etc. Friendly staff. It was in a perfect location, in the middle of everything. Great view of the Ferris wheel at The Island. Loved that there was a back way to Dollywood and did not have to get out on the main, busy road. We loved seeing Bible Verses throughout the hotel. We will for sure stay there again.

We had a great stay. Relaxing in the indoor and outdoor pools . And after a long day of walking around the spa tub was great as well.

Good value, great location, shows its age in spots

Pros: Fast wi-fi Balconies Comfortable bed Indoor pool and jacuzzi Comfortable lobby area
Cons: Breakfast was a little weak TVs need replacement (old CRT w/ 4x3 ratio) Thermostatically-controlled room would be nice
It was a good stay for the money we paid. We had 2 rooms with 2 queen beds. If you need multiple rooms, you might want to check out a "family suite". We didn't know about them until it was too late.

Great Hotel in the middle of everything!

Pros: The large clean rooms and its location.
Cons: More offerings at breakfast would be the perfect touch.
Location: You are near The Island, Lumberjack Feud, Comedy Barn, TGIFriday's, and much much more!
We were very pleased with our recent stay at James Manor. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, everything was great. Upon arrival, the staff was busy cleaning the lobby and elevator area. The rooms were very clean and larger than most rooms I have stayed in at the major chains. The maid service was superior. One day I forgot my jacket and went back to my room to get it and saw the maid in the room next door to mine scrubbing and wiping down the bathroom floor. I was impressed. The only negative thing I can say (and this is very minor) is that the offering at breakfast is limited. But at the price you pay for the room, it is to be expected. Another great thing about this hotel is the location. It is in the middle of everything in Pigeon Forge! We will definitely return here on future visits.

My family stayed 4 nights April 17th-20th 2014. The hotel is ok. The outside pool was closed but you could still see the water and it was green and gross to look at!! We stayed on the 6th floor and when looking down from balcony you saw the green pool! The ice machine on our floor was broken so we had to go to second floor to get ice. None of the doors leading into the hotel were locked even though there are signs saying (doors locked you must have key to enter). Continental breakfast was ok. I liked the fact that our room had a balcony and microwave!! I probably won't stay there again.
