It was OK. Disappointed there was no continental breakfast as stated. Room was clean. Air conditioned could have worked a little better but for the price it was OK

Musty and gross

Pros: Zero
Cons: Complete renovation only
Location: Location good for convenience but next to old abandoned hotels that this one will soon be.
Musty damp and would never stay there again. The room was so rank it made us sick.

Pros: Nothing really.
Cons: The walls need to be repainted. Carpets cleaned.
- The walls were black with dirt, scratches, holes and a smashed roach on the wall. The ONLY reason I stated in this hotel was because it was non-refundable for me. Otherwise, I would have got the hell out of dodge with this one.

The motel is now a motel 6 and that was confusing on arriving and locating the place. It was quiet, clean and we enjoyed the stay. We would consider staying again.

We arrived to find out that the Red Roof Inn was no longer...it was now a Motel 6. Thankfully they honored our reservations, but I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the area. The ice machine didn't work, the parking lot was very small, and only one way in to park. I didn't feel the desk clerk was the friendliest. There was suppose to be a light breakfast in the mornings and we never saw anything. We booked this room so we could use our Red Roof Rewards, and since they weren't Red Roof anymore it was not honored. I was disappointed in this stay

We were told they served breakfast so with 3 kids you can imagine how disapointed we were when they said you can go 3 blocks to our sister hotel and have breakfast so that really sucked. If we had known we would have brought food with us instead it cost us 4 days of extra money.

Bad experience

We actually ended up getting a different hotel room. The Red Roof was so baD We actually joked about who was going to take the "first watch" to keep us safe. The pool was green with algae. carpets were dirty. Even the railings and stairs going to the parking lot were sticky. Hopefully Motel 6 which is taking over will do a better job.

Looks can be deceiving for sure when we arrived thought it was going to be nothing like we found. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful, the room was remodeled and clean. Would stay again.

Pros: It was clean and the staff was friendly.
Cons: The location.
Location: It wnas in a fairly run down area.
The hotel was close enough to walk to the downtown area,but the neighborhood was really run down and it was a little bit scary to walk in the dark.
