“Really Nice Place”
We were pleased with the resort. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo and it was clean and neat. We had a lovely view of the trees down the mountain side. enjoyed coffee and "home cooked" breakfast on the balcony in a peaceful forest setting. The kitchen was well equipped. Grounds were lovely, well maintained, decorated nice for the Fall Convenient to downtown Gatlinburg, a nearby grocery store, and other points of interest. Two complaints: two pictures fell off the wall and shattered while we were out - that was rather odd, especially since they somehow landed neatly stacked on top of each other. We never quite understood what happened with that, however the maintenance man arrived quickly to clean it all up; and 2)on our last night there, we had neighbors arrive and we quickly discovered that the condo is not sound proof. You could actually hear conversations in certain areas and you could hear the water running rather loudly. The noise from the adjoining condo could be a problem if you had loud neighbors that stayed up late. The resort had lots of family "Fall" activities - a hay ride, stories, and a chili supper, but we did not attend any of the events. The fireplace was nice and the place was really comfortable. We would stay again if we ever make it back to Gatlinburg. We said "no" right upfront when asked about attending one of the time-share seminars and we were not bothered any further about attending. The staff was pleasant and helpful.
