Nice hotel close to food and mallsPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and furniture. Included buffet breakfast was much better than expected with a good selection.
Cons: Can't think of anything
Location: Shopping! Some amusement parks and several decent restaurants
Went to visit outlet malls. Traffic a nightmare. Hotel was easy to get in and out with surprisingly very nice accommodations. There are several good places to eat within a 10-15 minute walk.

Very nice place to stayPosted Oct 31, 2013
My husband and I both enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable!!! Our room had an in room jacuzzi and a private balcony overlooking the river. We were close to everything so we never had much of a drive. If the weather had been warmer (we stayed in late October) we could have walked to several locations.

Just a pricy hotel, nothing morePosted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: It had a bed and food. The bare necessities.
Cons: Price, smell, jacuzzi, fan, water pipes, tv programming.
Location: Several restaurants and a few stores. Close to everything, but still far due to traffic.
I expected a lot more from a $161/night ($180/night after fees) hotel room. There was nothing special about this hotel, it was exactly what you would see in any other hotel. I've stayed in hotels for $89/night that have had much more room and amenities in comparison. The lobby in the hotel is nice, but that's where it ends. After riding an old elevator up to your floor and entering your room, you're immediately greeted by an old, musty smell. I can relate this smell to my grandma's house. It's just a stale smell. The in-room coffee maker was disgusting. The coffee packs included for me to use had an expiration date 7 months prior to when I had stayed. The in-room jacuzzi would not fill up more than half way (had a low flood level), so only expect your lower half to get warm. Also, the knob to control the jets was broken. The TV had few channels and no guide. The TV was hard to hear, but especially hard when a neighbor is running their water because the pipes were noisy. Not to mention the in-room fan, which is right next to the bed, is very loud. The free breakfast wasn't bad, it was exactly what you'd expect to see at an average hotel breakfast: bacon, eggs, biscuits, etc. No complaints there, just that it's an average meal for a hefty price. If you're not expecting anything other than an average hotel stay, you won't be too disappointed. Just don't expect to have a great hotel stay for your anniversary (like I did). It's not that great, at all.

good overall experiencePosted Sep 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
quick check-in; courteous staff; plenty of towels; glad pools open late, kids really enjoyed this to wind down after other local activities; breakfast bar good except pastries stale one morning; great pillows and love the way they make the beds (blanket between sheets) . will stay there again.

Nice placePosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Place was nice. Really close to Pigeon Forge fun. Pool really cool for the kids. Breakfast nice. Loved sitting out on the patio area and watching the squirrels and the little creek there. Only negative was the room was musty/humid . Would stay there again for sure.

Not a happy stayPosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: Sitting in the rocking chair by the creek reading a book
Cons: Hire more people to clean the rooms...no one should go until 430 for any reason aned their room not clean
Location: great location lots to do ..go to live shows shop, dollywood, and most of all the beauty that you have being in the Mts
The front desk people were very nice...the thing that was not acceptable for the amount of $ you pay to stay there ...our room was not cleaned up until after 4 30 each day , even though we talked to staff & ask them to clean it before 2 00..the king size bed was so old you could not sleep ...Iam just one person maybe all the other rooms are great?

Spent more time at hotel than at attractions!Posted Aug 19, 2013
The only thing not going for us during this stay was that the indoor pool was under renovations, but we were invited to use the one at the Music Road Inn. Rooms, bathrooms, balconies were very clean; jacuzzi's were a plus, mini fridge and microwave helped much. The hot breakfast was good and everyone, all staff, were friendly, attentive and caring. We stayed an extra night!

Great place for FamiliesPosted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: Accommodations, outdoor/indoor pool, complimentary breakfast, location, friendly staff.
Cons: The indoor pool was closed during our visit for repair
Location: Convenient location, close to several attractions, shopping and dining.
I always base my hotel decision on reviews of recent travelers. This was our first stay at the Music Road hotel and we were not disappointed. The hotel staff is among the friendliest and most accommodating that I have met. We had a very loud air unit that kept us up on the first night. Upon alerting the staff they had a new air unit replaced within 20 minutes. Wow. The hotel offered everything we were looking for traveling with our 9 year old son. The outdoor pool was absolutely fabulous offering everything a kid could want from a diving board, slide and a lazy river with an abundance of children to play with. The outdoor snack bar provided great refreshments and music to give it a resort flair. The breakfast areas were very busy each morning but provided a nice selection. I would definitely stay at the Music Road Hotel again in the future and recommend to anyone traveling with children.
