Nice hotel, good locationPosted Aug 16, 2014
Very friendly staff and clean facility. Expedia photos do not represent the place well. It's better looking than in the pictures.

Waterfall in room, keycard nightmarePosted Aug 1, 2014
Our keycards failed approximately 10 times during a 4 night stay. The staff blamed us, lecturing that we should not keep the cards next to cellphones and car key fobs. At one point my wife tried to take our two year old from the pool to the room on the 5th floor for her daily nap, but the keycard would not work. She had to go up and down to the front desk FIVE times before they said they would send maintenance. They said they would have someone there in five minutes, but after 15, no one arrived. She asked a cleaning lady for help and 10 minutes later maintenance arrived, all the while my wife is holding a cranky toddler who only wants her nap. The next night , we were awakened by water running through a crack in the ceiling due to a thunderstorm, they gave us another room key, but by the time we woke up our kids and moved the playpen, the storm and leak had stopped. On our pool day, the snack bar was inexplicably closed for most of the afternoon. Seating for the morning breakfast did not remotely meet demand and the line for food stretched out of the room daily. Some folks rudely left their plates for staff to deal with but staff did not clear tables, so we were forced to bus the table in order to have a seat. For the price, I would have expected better balcony furniture , it was just two cheap plastic chairs you could buy for $5 each at a dept store. We complained about our experience to the front desk but only got a bunch of excuses and an insincere apology.

Pleasant Visit-- 3 nights, but pleasant!Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: I liked the overall appearance. We also enjoyed the pool.
Cons: Our room was close to the elevator, and we could hear noises from it every night. Next time we visit, we would prefer a room farther from the elevator
Location: Good location, our grandson liked how it was close to the Big Daddy's Pizzeria.
Our visit was a pleasant experience, we liked the location, the pool, and the lazy river.

Two day Road Trip with two teenage girlsPosted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: It was very nice.
Cons: There was a large family reunion that came in on our 2nd day. If they had not been so loud and rowdy, all would have been perfect.
Location: The trolley for Pigeon Forge has a stop right across the street and we found that to be a great way to get around town.
Our stay at Music Road Inn was very good. The place is quite nice with a great outdoor pool area. The breakfast was an added bonus that we enjoyed one morning. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was clean. Not much available for breakfast. Lazy river was pretty dirty, but other water areas okay.

Place to meet daughter an exchange grand childrenPosted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Off the beaten path. Plenty to do with the nice pool area.
Location: Walking distance to many things to do and places to eat. Also the convenience to the Trolley stop.
we have stayed before but not on ground floor, we thought it would be noisey but we had no problems. Thanks again for a great time.

Good sized hotel roomPosted May 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
We got our room at the last minute at a reasonable price. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the facility, the congeniality of the staff and the location in Pigeon Forge.
