ok hotel within walking distance to a lot.

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: near the strip
Cons: matresses If stuff is out of order say so before I make reservations
Location: near Smokie Mtns Park. Walk on the strip and to resteaurants
The bed was really lumpy. First breakfast ok, 2nd day they had no eggs(said they ran out) No hot tubs working like they said they had. Wi fi was not working. Had to go to two different elevators to go to the office and to get breakfast. We should have got a refund with nothing the way they said it was. I will never stay here again.

Convenient location

The hotel was clean and located in downtown close to the shops, restaurants, etc. the only drawback was the terrible odor in the hall. The smell was not noticeable in the room or on the elevator.

Close to activities

Enjoyed our stay. Hotel personnel were very nice. Only thing I was unhappy about was breakfast wasn't too good and when we arrived on Wednesday the snack machine was empty and it didn't get restocked till a few days later. Other than that I would stay there again.

Excellent location and price. Poor condition.

This hotel has multiple buildings and maybe some are in better condition but our building was old and in poor condition. It did have a nice balcony overlooking trees. It was an easy walk to restaurants, shops.

Great location to the main strip of Gatlinburg

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Proximity to Main strip and Smokey Mountains
Cons: Customer service of the rude afternoon shift man and change the garbage truck arrival time - crazy.
Location: Hiking, horse riding, rafting and spending time wandering the strip.
The lady that booked us into our room was really friendly - she even let us check in 2 hours early which was a bonus. One of the men who worked the afternoon shift was awful.. Extremely rude to a couple who could not speak English properly - actually making fun of them - and then was a little rude to me when I was asking about wifi connection - don't work in the tourist industry if you don't like tourists. The wifi in this hotel is CRAP. No connection in your room - you have to sit on your balcony - and then it drops out. The people below us were smokers and blew smoke up onto our balcony constantly which stopped us from sitting out there. So not impressed by that. Every night a garbage truck would turn up - about 3 am to collect the garbage. So not impressed by this either. Breakfast is ok and a bonus. Look around before booking this hotel. There is so much accomodation in this area that you may come across something a little better for the same price. This hotel is, however right in the heart of Gatlinburg strip and very close to the Smokey Mountains entry.

Cheap but not cheerful

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: Cheap, location
Location: We'll located for the main drag in gattlinburg
Lucky to get a parking space. As we went into the room, using the kids terminology, it smelled of wet dog! Air con unit was either on (high blowing the curtain up horizontally so passers by could look in) or off, so had to put up with a warm doggy room for the night. Both beds clicked creaked and made load metallic noises at the slightest movement ( not a place for a romantic encounter) . That said the room was clean as was the bed linen. Would have complained but as only there the one night and arrived late and tired we just crashed. Went for breakfast over half an hour before scheduled end to find very little left just a few boiled eggs, toast and cereal. Even that was whisked away 15 minutes before the advertised end of breakfast. To quote the kids again, quality inn where quality is definitely out!
