Nice room for the right pricePosted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness
Cons: The rooms need attention and updating.
Location: Close to restaurants and a short drive from Governor's Crossing and the Tanger Outlets.
While the room itself could use some attention to detail (2 holes in the pullout sofa, a toilet paper holder in need of replacing, aged paint, minor damage to door frames), the room was clean and fit our needs for an overnight stay. The indoor pool was only steps from our room. It, too, needs some attention but was fine for our needs. The location is ideal, especially during the car show traffic. It's out enough to not be in the middle of the crowds but close enough to venture into Pigeon Forge. We will definitely keep this hotel in our rotation.

Decent hotel for pricePosted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Staff friendliness.
Cons: Larger breakfast seating area. Always crowded.
Has the accommodations for a large family. We're a family of 6 and the room with 3 queen beds worked out great. Other hotels require us to rent two adjoining rooms. The staff was wonderful. Granted it's an older hotel, but they seem to take pride in keeping it up. We enjoyed our stay.

Location: close to Wilderness of the Smokies, 2-3 miles from Tanger outlets.
Nice location, a little away from the hustle, bustle, but close enough

We had a 2 room "suite" on the first floorPosted Aug 12, 2014
Nice staff. Poor accommodations. Seriously needs updated. The pull out bed was so terrible that my husband would not even let the kids sleep on it. He pulled the thinnest mattress from this "bed" and slept on the floor. The back door would hardly lock. The front door had possible apparent damage to someone trying to bust the door in.

Looks nice onlinePosted Aug 7, 2014
The room looked like it had not been dusted in years. The paint was chipping off the walls. There were spider webs all in the bathroom, the curtain rod looked like it was hanging on for dear life. There were dead bugs near the outlets. The breakfast was ok. The staff was nice but the room was just horrible.

Great place to stay.Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Staff, room cleanliness, indoor pool and hot tub.
Location: Smoky Mountain Knife works is only about 4 minutes away. Lots of resturants nearby.
This was not our first stay and will not be the last when visiting the area. Room was clean as it always is. we love the fact that the two beds are seperated bu the bathroom and dressing area. Cant beat the continental breakfast. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Great location if you dont want to stay in town near all the traffic jams.

A shiort drive to all the attractions.Posted Jul 4, 2014
It was a pleasant experience. I would stay there again.. The staff was especially friendly and accomodating. We had a clogged toilet and the gentleman on duty came right up and cleared it. He apologized for taking so long, but I thought he was very prompt, considering that it was late at night. The pool and the breakfast area were clean and pleasant. The food was acceptable.
