“Great Stay!!!!”

We loved our stay. Convient location to downtown Gatlinburg, Just about a block walk off the main strip at light #10 . There is also a Trolley Stop at the motel. If you don't want to go to town drive down a block to main strip take a right and within a couple of minutes you are in the National Park, head toward Townsend, Cherokee, Clingmans Dome, Chimmneys Picnic area or jump on the Bypass toward Pigeon Forge which is a beautiful drive looking out at the mountains and down at Gatlinburg. It is maybe 5-8 minutes if you don't stop at the overlooks. Great way if you want to get around the busy downtown of Gatlinburg. It was a lovely motel with the outside apperance of a Ski Chalet. It is off the beaten path and surrounded by woods and some views of the mountains. You also can see the Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tram pass in the distance. We were in a room on the backside were we could look down at the creek . The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff was very attentive to check to see if you needed anything.

“birhtday gatlinburg trip”

Easy to book better prices than i was finding at otgher hotels just as close to the action as this one. Easily walk to strip, hotel looked just like the pictures. The only complaint i have was that the balcony was not as expected. It was behind another door that seemed like an exit and then there was a really beat up porch that gave a nice view of the underside of a tree.

“Loved Gatlinburg”

The Red Roof Inn is a very nice and reasonably priced hotel. Located within walking distance of the "main drag" in Gatlinburg, it is far enough to not be bothered by the noise of cars and tourists. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the location was great.....My only regret is I didn't bring my hairdryer :) There is a quaint little steakhouse (Howard's) within a block from the hotel that has the best steak & veggies I've had in quite a while. Parking is a little limited, but well worth the stay :) Will definitely be back!

The Red Roof Inn is close to everything we needed to do.. The Trolley Pick Up is the way to go!

“Great hotel for the price”

This Red Roof Inn has been the nicest budget hotel I've stayed in by far. I generally make it a point not to stay in "budget" chains, but this was definitely an exception to my rule. It was a clean room and was exactly as pictured on Expedia. However, the room smelled a bit of cat urine when we entered, but we sprayed Lysol and the odor was not as strong. The pool was recently renovated and cleaned every morning. The front desk staff were courteous and went out of their way to assist us with everything we needed. The continental breakfast was so-so and I ended up eating it once during our week stay. The wi-fi was sporadic and didn't really work, but it's free so I can't really complain. The only negative part of this hotel is the neighborhood. It is just off the strip (turn right at stoplight #10 in Gatlinburg and go up the hill); however, the surrounding hotels are a bit questionable. My recommendation is to drive into Gatlinburg and park if you want to do things in town because walking back at night can be a bit scary. (The city parking lot is directly across from Hard Rock Cafe and is maximum $6 for all day parking; take advantage of this!)

Love it! Nothing fancy.. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Within walking distance of many restaurants, shops and a convenient Trolley Station, (which save on parking and gas sitting in traffic if you've been there you'll know what I mean). Very friendly knowledgeably helpful staff... !!

“Fall trip to TN”

Great stay, helpful staff. Breakfast room is extremely small and there was a lack of variety. However, for a free meal it was fine. Great stay otherwise!

This hotel was perfect for family vacation. It is not fancy but is afordable and fun. We had everything we needed and the service was great.

We had a great time at Red Roof Inn Gatlinburg. It is an extremely convenient location for easy to attractions & smokies as well as walking distance to local bars, restaurants, shopping, etc. The staff was consistantly prompt & friendly with us for the duration of our stay. Rooms are not huge, but offer a fridge, microwave, free wi-fi, & free hot breakfast daily. Overall we had an awesome time & would happily stay again in the future! We are very happy to have found such a great spot in Gatlinburg.

For the price, you can't beat it. Great staff, good breakfast, nice room, walking distance to everything.
