Cons: Needs WIFI...Telephone did not work. Lights went out on wall where telephone is located. This was last day so we were ok.
Location: Gatlinburg, TN...GREAT!
Good place to stay just inside Gatlinburg. Pet friendly room was clean and very roomy. Had great balcony area with nice but not great view. Hot water and good shower.

No one was at the desk when we checked in at 6pm. The office was closed - had to wait 30 minutes for him to return. There were roaches in the room. The cleaning staff and breakfast were good.

There are better hotels in Gatlinburg

Posted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: Relatively convenient location and laundry facilities available.
Cons: Furniture, decor, room cleanliness, pest control, wifi signal.
Location: Right across the street from an alpine coaster and close to mini golf. Fifteen to twenty minute walk to shops and restaurants.
The rooms that have not yet been renovated look like your grandmother's basement - wood paneling, old furniture, dated fixtures, etc. The room we stayed in had a few bugs, including a small cockroach. The sheets and blankets were too small for the bed and the blanket had holes in it. Every day there were long hairs in the shower that couldn't have possibly belonged to anyone other than the maid since no one in our party has long hair. The wifi was spotty and cell service inside the hotel was minimal. We had very limited interactions with the hotel staff - only at check in and check out. The man at the desk was pleasant when we checked in, but a different man did check out and upon inquiring how he was doing he stated "I was bitter, but I got over it." I thought that was a rather odd thing to say to a guest. The hotel is within a 10-15 minute walk of the more bustling parts of Gatlinburg. You do have to walk past a boarded up shop and some other struggling businesses to get there, though. We did not make use of the breakfast or the pool, so I can't comment on those features.

Wifi was very sporadic. Maid service on switched out towels daily. No other room maintenance. Room had funny odor. Toilet seat loose. Shower pressure not good. Tub did not drain

Close enough to avoid driving in traffic

Posted Oct 16, 2014
We picked this hotel for a quick weekend trip and were satisfied with the quality we received. The room was clean except for one towel that had a few small stains which we just tossed aside and didn't use. The staff was nice and got us checked in and out in a timely manner. The balcony offered us a nice view. I thought the hotel was closer to the river which was my mistake, but I still loved the location. Good price for the quality overall.

decent room for the money

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: I liked the fireplace in my room and how close it was to attractions.
Cons: A bit dated. I heard they were remodeling though.
Location: Really close to everything in Gatlinburg such as Ripley's aquarium, mini-giolf, Mountain Mall, a winery, moonshine distillery, and lots of shops
This is a pretty decent hotel for the money. It was in walking distance of all the Gatlinburg activities and attractions. Since the traffic is ridiculous, being able to walk everywhere was wonderful. We did not bring our pets with us this trip, but it was nice to know that it is pet friendly. Even though pets are allowed, our room was clean and did not smell like animals. We had a fireplace in the room, which was a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are older and nothing fancy, but my family would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Recently rennovated room? The air conditioner didn't work, didn't have a knob for the warm/cold thermostat selector. What a hole for $175/night.
