Red roof

Has not been updated since the 70's. Place smells like wet dog because of pets on first floor.

Great Staff, Great Stay!

Pros: Spacious room! Clean! And, such wonderful, friendly people employed.
Location: <3 Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge
I've visited Gatlinburg many times and stayed at many hotels. This one is a good one and we will definitely be returning. Our two dogs our members of our family and we wanted them to enjoy the family vacation with us. This Red Roof made that possible. We drove 14 hours from Massachusetts and arrived at 7 AM. We called when we got into town and asked if we could check in early, the lady at the front was so sweet and accommodated us right away in one of their newly renovated rooms! It was a blessing to have a place to rest, shower, unpack, and eat breakfast! The waffle making station has bear shaped waffle makers! Adorable! And, the ever-important coffee was actually pretty good. Finally, their rooms are great! Our two queen sized bedroom was very spacious, clean, and pretty-darn sound proof. Across the road construction was undergoing for an alpine coaster, but we couldn't hear a thing from inside. With only an eight minute walk or so to the strip in Gatlinburg, this place was all around perfect for us. Thanks!

The room smelled like urine and mold. I can get past the very outdated decor but the overall feeling in the room was absolute disgust. The room was incredibly hot when we arrive which added to the overwhelming smell.

Old and falling apart

Terrible place. Stayed in a suite. Was dirty and everything was falling apart. Looked like I was back in the 60's

Great location, great price

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Stayed here for $67 dollars after leaving a "cheap" hotel in Pigeon Forge for $109 that was horrible!! Our room had 2 queens, a fireplace, a balcony, and a kitchenette. This place was a little rough around the edges, but outstanding for the price. Will definitely stay here again.
