near nice shopping mallPosted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Sorry we don't like this hotel.
Cons: look at my message (about your experience)
Location: Nice shopping mall
We were not satisfied of the room that all rooms need more remodeling, painting, new carpet, fresh air, decoration, and more super cleaning. The office needs remodeling, too.

Get what you paid forPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Location, price
Cons: Needs major updating
It was very affordable for Gatlinburg at that time of the year. I am not a hotel snob, so the fact that hotel is very old and need upgrading is ok with me. Breakfast is very limited . They need to mention on web site that fireplace is turned off during summer time. Duh! Who would want a fireplace in July. So does happened it was a bit over 60 at night.. But it's very conveniently located, close to strip and exit to main road. Would stay again? I would... if it's affordable

Excellent LocationPosted Aug 4, 2014
Cons: Renovate rooms
Location: Tramway is just 5 minutes walk. All shopping centers are within 10 minutes.
Location is excellent. Walking distance to everything including the Tramway. Room conditions were ok. Could be better. Staff was excellent. Small swimming pool.

Strike 2, you're outPosted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: The balcony
Cons: Pool policy, limit the hours so we can get some sleep. Allow the temp in the refrigerator to be adjusted. Fix the toilers and showers (see above)
This is the second time we tried this hotel; we wanted to give them a second chance. If you want to get some sleep, ask for a room away from the pool. The hotel's policy (both times we stayed) was to keep the pool open 24 hours day. Even with the air conditioner running in the room, there was noise from the pool area all hours of the day and night. No way to adjust the temperature in the refrigerator, so everything froze. The front desk IS considerate enough to warn you not to expect a "hot" shower in the mornings, because that's when everyone is trying to take one; "best to wait until later in the day." Also, the shower head and tub spigot put out water simultaneously, leaving you standing in water WHILE you shower. The toilet takes 2 or 3 flushings because of the poor water pressure. The best part of this trip was leaving the hotel to go hiking in the mountains.

dirty, stinky motelPosted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: Absolutely nothing other than leaving it!
Location: Beautiful city and lots of fun things to do
the pictures are deceitful. it was NASTY! Dirt everywhere, stains, smells on furniture, bedding, and chairs. The bed smelled as if comforter had not been washed in a while. Pillow smelled like someone had recently slept on it. Room smelled dirty, musty, and maybe moldy. I bent over in the bathroom to pick something up almost got sick due to the dirt underneath the sink on pipes. The tub was NASTY! Chairs and carpet stained badly. Outside was dirty and trash everywhere in the parking lot. Balcony was a joke. Staff at desk was nice but that is it!

One night stay during motorcycle tripPosted Jul 19, 2014
I was going alone on a 2 day trip through the smokies and needed one night accommodations. I just needed a place to sleep so I was looking for something inexpensive. The room was clean but very outdated. I would stay here again if traveling on my motorcycle but not with the family.
