River Terrace is located next to Ripley's Aquarium. Very good location if u like to walk Gatlinburg's strip. The rooms are very large with everything you need in them. Staff was extremely nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Great Hotel Riverside”

The Hotel was great riverside...had small problem being late arrival, although it says it is guarenteed you need to call first to the hotl and let them know...I did this and they still cancelled the reservation, however after explaining that I did call, I had to wait a few minutes and they even upgraded us to a riverside room. The room wa clean, and comfortable with everything you could possibly need, fireplace balcony overlooking river, fridge, microwave, tv, the whole package! Would definately go again!

I dont get why other travlers wrote some bad reviews, we stayed for a long weekend and everything was great.room was clean and very updated, the location is perfect.the restarant breakfast was good in value and quality.the lounge had great specials and also gave you free food. {wings and other munchies}. will deffinatly be going back soon.

“Great Location!”

This hotel was centrally located to everything. Right next to Ripley's Aquarium and within walking distance to everything. No Way Jose's, great Mexican restaurant less than a block down. I think every room has a balcony. Even though ours faced the parking lot, we still got a nice view of the mountains and the space needle. Room was spacious and clean. Would stay there again!

“Very Impressed”

We were travelling from Pennsylvania to Georgia and, after being delayed by a snowstorm, we knew we weren't going to make it all the way home in one day. So my wife called Expedia at the last minute and asked for the most affordable room we could get in the area that would fit our family size. We were expecting a no-frills room with not much space just to get through the night. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very nice, comfortable room with a fireplace and balcony with a quiet view of the river. The hotel itself is just off the main strip, in easy walking distance to most of the restaurants but but far enough to be quiet.

“Enjoyable Stay”

I was very impressed with the River Terrace, our room was large and extremely relaxing. The view out of our windows was beautiful and it was nice to have our own private balcony to enjoy the scenery. I will definately be staying there again.
