Great location! Just like being at home...Posted Nov 12, 2014
Pros: The best thing is the ability to choose the # of bedrooms. With teenagers, we ALL need our space! Also the 24 hr pool & fitness center.
Cons: Food on site would be a plus, but it's close enough to area restaurants that it's not a big deal.
Location: Close enough to Dollywood, The Island, Tanger Outlets & Gatlinburg that you can be at any of these places within minutes.
This was the second time that I have stayed at the RiverStone Resort, and it won't be the last! The rooms are immaculate. Very spacious and clean with all the comforts of home. The location is perfect - close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, yet not directly on the 'strip'. I feel perfectly safe at all locations of this resort at any time of the day or night.

Double charges.Posted Nov 6, 2014
The place was nice enough, but almost a month after check out (and paying in full through Expedia), my credit card was charged for the full stay...again. Upon calling, no meaningful explanation was given. I was promised a refund; we will see when it actually hits my card. Never again. My biggest fear pre-paying through Expedia came true.

Great place to escape to in Pigeon ForgePosted Sep 22, 2014
Really nicely equipped condos, feel more luxurious than typical condo rentals. Only wish I had time to enjoy the facilities a bit longer

Pros: It is very good hotel we loved it i will go again with my wife & 4 kids rent 4 br apt.
Cons: There is no restaurnt They should have restaurant with room service for atleast breakfast.
Location: Very conveniently located near shopping & activities & restaurants are about 5 minutes drive
We stayed in 1 bedroom apt, which was for upto 4 people,& there was only 1 mirror in whole apt ,the bath sink mirror That is a no no. You need atleast 1 more mirror in the kitchen area or familyroom area

A great stay for Pigeon ForgePosted Aug 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was very clean, but I expected more amenities from the pictures. We did not have double sinks, separate shower / bath and kitchen bar, but the amenities we did have was accommodating for two adults. The first night our Jacuzzi tub was inoperable, but maintenance promptly came to fix it. The game room was closed for the entire stay so we could not access it from the resort, but the strip at Pigeon Forge had plenty that were working. I did not like the parking lot view from the balcony and would request a better view of the river or golf course next time. Overall, I would stay at this resort again and possible patronize the spa.

Great.. But!!!Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Area, condo amenities, style, location.
Negatives: 1) The room not being cleaned/prepared until approximately 1.5 hours (5pm) after check in. 2) After the second day of a 4 day reservation, I received a phone call from a resort representative while visiting the local sites(2hr away from resort) that they were expecting us to check out and that someone was waiting for the room and we had to check out!!!! The clerk was rude and not very understanding after I explained the situation and asked how this mix up happened as I booked the resort via Expedia. She mentioned that it was "my issue" and that I had to handle this with Expedia. I then spoke with a Supervisor who was more understanding and told her that I would deal with the issue when I returned to the resort in approximately 2 hours. This cut out day trip short as I didn't have my paper work with me. When I returned to the resort I contacted Expedia and they then contacted the resort Supervisor and worked it out. In summary, I didn't get a reason for the mishap but, again this goes to show you that the attitude of one employee handling this type of situation could really hurt your business.
