Very nice room will go there again in the future.Posted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Very clean and nice. Nice view of the creek from the balcony.
Location: This hotel is located in Gatlinburg close to the shops and restaurants. They have a Trolley stop or you can walk very accesible.
They were having issues with the plumbing in the building we had booked but they put us in a nicer room and did not charge us any extra. They were very helpful and pleasant.

Nothing to brag aboutPosted Mar 3, 2014
Cons: Way they check to see who is making noise instead of just calling a room that they think the noise is coming from.
I plan a one night stay for my son and myself. Thought this would be a good hotel. When we arrive the front desk was not that friendly and just wanted my name, flopped the door key on the desk and told me where to park. That night, my son and I get back to the hotel at about 11:30 and get a call from the front desk that we are making to much noise. They just assumed it was us and did not really check to see if it could be guested in another room. I told them it wasn't us and this person just said,"well, keep it quite," Want stay here again.

The balcony view of the river was great!Posted Feb 24, 2014
From the front of the hotel you would probably drive right on by because it could use an overhaul but the view from the private balcony was great. Water pressure was a bit to be desired and could use more than 3 flat small pillows on a king size bed.

The motel was close to everything.Posted Feb 24, 2014
Cons: The furniture was a little worn.
Location: The location is great. We were in walking distance to shops, restaurants and attractions. The aquarium is always a good place to go.
We loved the balcony on the river side. We would stay here again.

Pros: Location and view of the river
Cons: Staff professionalism and communication Proper maintenance
While the motel was close to Gatlinburg's downtown attractions and easy to find it is not at all worth the stay. I stayed for two nights. When checking in I did not feel welcomed at all. The receptionist simple asked my last name and handed me a key, instructed me on where to park and how to get to the room. Not very personable. The room was decently cleaned. It was organized and clean but didn't smell clean or fresh. That night we realized that the shower didn't drain properly so after showering I called the receptionist and we switched rooms. No big deal. The second day (in the new room) I had the same problem but in far worse state. The shower wasn't draining at all and the water would not maintain a constant temperature. Because I'm on vacation and have things to do, I waited until later to mention it to someone. I stopped by the office twice that evening and the receptionist wasn't there so the second time I told a housekeeper what was going on and all she said was "oh ok." She never mentioned to the receptionist anything about my problem. Finally, I asked the receptionist about getting some Draino in the room and he said no due to the smell and that maintenance could not come out until Monday. Needless to say I will not be staying here again nor referring to anyone else. Shame on me for not spending the extra money to stay at a nicer facility.

Pros: view of rivnlyer o
Location: not close enough to town without driving
The first thing the clerk was not helpful when we got there, I asked could we get 2 roll aways, the clerk snapped if we have any,my brother and I just looked at one another. The clerk said one room was ready but the second was not, we said that was fine we just needed to change to go ski.My brother went back to office for something and second room key was given to him. Six of us changed and left room we did not take time to inspect room, came back at midnight. to find no shower curtain in first room or microwave, second room had no coffee pot and no bath cloth's and the ice machine had no ice. Next morning we found that they had a continental breakfast but it was at the sister hotel Days Inn.While checking the room not to leave anything behind we found in second room trash and a pair of eye glasses between night stand and bed,in first room some varment had been chewing behind a electrial outlet, and had pushed the cover away from wall, there was a pile of stucco and plaster on the floor.
