Ok but a little dirty

Posted Nov 28, 2012
Pros: Fairly quiet
Cons: Dirt
Location: Hillside with an ok view
The underside rim of the toilet had a lot of black mold--looks like it had not been cleaned in a good while. The toilet also seemed like it was not level and the seat was warped. The shower curtain had a lot of mold along the bottom of the curtain---needed to be washed or replaced. Although the room had these issues, all in all, other parts of the room appeared to be clean, but you must wonder if it truly is clean!

DON'T STAY HERE.

Posted Nov 25, 2012
Pros: N/A
Cons: N/A
Location: BAD LOCATION
HOTEL WASN'T VERY CLEAN COULD'NT UNDERSTAND STAFF. I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO STAY HERE. LOCATION WASN'T GREAT VERY STEEP HILL RIGHT ON MAIN DRAG AS WE GOT THEIR BIG WRECK BY SOMEONE TURNING IN TO GO UP TO HOTEL. I HAVE STAYED AT A LOT OF HOTELS IN PIGEON FORGE THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST.

Better than I Expected

Posted Oct 22, 2012
Pros: Staff and cleanlines of the room
Cons: Nothing
Location: Off the main strip but away fromt the noise of the strip traffic.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived much earlier than expected and went ahead and checked in. The staff told us the keys would be available later and if we saw we were going to be late getting back just call the they would be happy to turn the heat on for us so the room would be comfortable. The room was very clean and carpet appeared new. The beds were OK one fairly firm and the other fairly soft. Plenty of hot water and pressure if you enjoy a hot shower or soak. All the amenities, clean, friendly staff---- alot for the money. The hotel is off the main strip in Pigeon Forge but is directly across from Wonder World and the new Titanic attraction. The road it is located on has a traffic light so even on a terribly busy weekend you can easily get on to the main road. Overall it was a satisfying experience.

Clean & Pet Friendly

Posted Oct 16, 2012
Pros: Clean, pet friendly and reasonable price
Cons: non-smoking room smelled of smoke, needs an update
Location: hard to find
The hotel was a bit hard to find to begin with....there is no longer a "Red Carpet Inn" in front of the hotel. The room was clean but nothing to write home about. It was pet friendly(why I chose it to begin with). The bed was not very comfy and did not have fitted sheets, but nothing is like sleeping in your own bed.I thought the website for this hotel said it had been updated recently, if it was I could NOT tell! The room was fine for a couple of days away from home but I would not recommend the hotel for an extended amount of time.

Good for the money

Posted Oct 4, 2012
Pros: clean
Cons: the bed
Location: very good
This is a cheap hotel, as long as you're not expecting the Hilton, it's not bad. Small rooms, but clean, and that is so important. The bed was the kind that swayed in the middle, kind of hurt my back after a couple of nights, but the place didn't cost much and was in a very good location. The staff was competent, the place was cheap and clean, not too bad.

A little hard to find

Posted Sep 29, 2012
The hotel was clean, nice staff, however difficult to find. The sign is not big and it sits on a hill. So if you stay here i hope you read this and it will help you find it. When you first cross into Pigeon Forge coming from Seiverville you see Tony Romas, Wonderworks house and the Titanic museum if you look up to the left when you are even with the Wonderworks house it's up on a hill; they are adding a stop light there which will help but for now I hope this helps landmark it. It really was a good value for the money.

Good value for the price

Posted Sep 5, 2012
Pros: Price
Cons: Some of the furniture coverings were stained and the pilows were not the best.
Location: On the North end of Pigeon Forge.
This hotel is a great value for the price. We have stayed there several times and always found it to be clean and quiet.

Clean rooms

Posted Jul 17, 2012
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: Would have liked for the small refrigerator and microwave to have been on a table instead of the floor.
Location: Nice location right in Pigeon Forge and straight across from the Hatfield and McCoy dinner show.
Not a newer hotel but is kept very clean. I will stay here again.

Family friendly and quiet.

Posted Jul 2, 2012
Pros: It was clean and quiet at a fair price. Fridge and microwave was convenient.
Location: Convenient; on a hill overlooking the main strip.
Located on a hill above the main drag, and shielded from the street noise by a motel located on the main street. Even though our room faced the highway, it was quiet. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable, with a small fridge and microwave. It was of adequate size, not especially large, but not cramped. The rate was very fair, among the lowest available, especially for a last minute reservation (made the evening before). Some other motels had signs boasting of much lower rates than we paid at this one, but my experience with those in this destination has been that such rates are almost never available, have special restrictions, or don't apply if you have more than one person in the room. My wife and I were with our two daughters; we all were comfortable in the one room. The Country Hearth's rate was upfront and honest; no tricks or bait-and-switch. Complimentary breakfast was basic, but included hot waffles made with a DIY iron in the lobby. Overall, we were very pleased with out stay.
