“great location”
The hotel is in the middle of the town and makes it easier to walk anywhere. The only thing I didn't like it was the room they gave us was facing the back street and up the stairs. This has happened before when booking through expedia.

i have stayed at smokeyland motel several times..and each time my room is very clean everyone is so nice and willing to help anyway they can..i will go back and invite everyone staying in gatlinburg to visit smokeyland motel
“Great location, but not ideal for light sleepers”
Love the location, you step out of your room and you are right in the middle of the strip! But good luck sleeping at night. The traffic never stops and we could hear our neighbors very clearly. It was also very humid and musky in the room and smelled like wet dog.

well i have stayed at smokeyland on several occasions..and the rooms have always been really keptwell, but this time the toilet overflowed, it took about 20 minutes for anyone to get there the volume on some channels didnt work s it was not a plesent stay
