Nice people and nice location

We go to Gatlinburg several times a year. This is the first time we got exactly what we needed and wanted in a stay there. The price was right, the room was clean and recently updated by the looks. It was small but all we wanted was a nice place to sleep close to all the action and it was all of that. Blaine's Bar and Grill offered a fantastic meal and was just on the corner to the main parkway from the hotel. The Log Cabin Pancake House was a 3 minute walk if that for breakfast on the same street and that meal too was excellent. There is even a little store with snacks if you don't bring your own just a few steps away. Everything you could need is within walking distance. Being off the main strip it is quiet at bedtime and that was a plus for us. All in all we felt it was an excellent value for our purpose there. Who needs a $200 a night room anyway?

Well pleased room was nice and cleaned ,mattress was a little to hard. But we still liked the room.

“Very Enjoyable & I Am Becoming A Regular.....”

The people at the front desk, the cleaning staff, & the van drivers are so very nice. This has become MY PLACE to stay when I visit this area. My only small issue I have is with the first come first serve van service. I have brought my mother and sister with me a couple of times in the past two years to events at the convention center. It's great that this hotel offers shuttle service. However, my mother is not in the greatest of health and could not stand for long periods of time. We have actually left events early to call for shuttle service. We will be the only ones out front while everyone else is still enjoying the event inside. When the van does get there, people are already coming out and pushing there way in the van. Some go as far as to run into the street and jump on. I don't know if there is an easy answer to this problem, but, some people are walking all over others. I could wait on another ride or even walk. But people that have difficulties cannot do that. Everything else about the hotel: convenience, cleanliness, friendliness these qualities are all top notch! I definately recommend staying here, just please be very aware of the shuttle issue if you are ever using it for event pick-up and/or drop off.

This hotel is idea for a family get away.My family and i spent 4 nights here and we did'nt hear the first sound of no type of noise or disturbance's.The pool although closed was clean.The office personel were very kind,but i only have one complaint and its not a very big one....Could use a better breakfast to choose from!The room itself was clean and newly renovated with fridge and microwave and coffee pot even though the room we chose was'nt there biggest offered it slept six comfortably..5 STARS...

“A Gem in Gatlinburg”

Get room key system updated. I had to have the key reprogramed every day of my four day stay. Clean the drains in the bath and lavatory. "Slime flies" were present the last two days in the room.
