Better than Cabins

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: From Expedia
Location: Clingman's dome, rafting, hiking, and etc.
The hotel was built on the top of the mountain such that every room has great view. It has microwave oven on every floor and a mini water park on its first floor such that it is very family friendly.

Perfect hotel to stay in Gatlinburg, TN with view

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: Mountain View.
Cons: A/C Unit water gets accumulated in Balcony. Though if you ask staff, they come and vacuum it. But it is pain and stand in Balcony in puddle of water.
Location: Perfect location for Gatlinburg downtown and going to Smoky Mountain.
Hotel staff is really nice and friendly. It is perfect hotel to stay for Smoky Mountain view, close to Gatlinburg downtown. There is Shuttle service to downtown, otherwise if you park car in downtown for 9-10 bucks. Hotel serves fresh, warm cookies every evening. They have good pool but water was not clear at all in bigger pool. I would not take little kids (less than 5 year old) in bigger pool. Stick to small pool, water was cleaner.

Great Place for the Smokey's and Gatlinburg

Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: The view, pay a little extra for the Mountain view. Also rooms have a balcony.
Cons: Nothing.
The hotel is atop of a High Cliff over looking the city. Its too far to walk but the shuttle comes every 20 minuets to pick you up. The hotel was clean and modern. No issues and the everyone was very friendly. Room was clean and no issues. I would recommend for business or for a family.

Nice hotel

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: Nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff.
Cons: No complimentary breakfast. They had breakfast buffet at their restaurant for a cost of $14.00.
Location: Location was good. It was away from all the noise from downtown. The scenery was great. Up in the mountains.
Had to wait an hour or longer to check in. Rooms were not clean. They had some late check outs that day and it put us and a lot of others sitting around waiting for our rooms to be cleaned, so we could check in.

Breathtaking views.

Posted Jul 15, 2015
The hotel is so pretty. Friendly helpful staff. Our 8th floor King suite directly faced the mountains. Breathtaking! The indoor pool area is like a water park! Breakfast was very good. There were two problems. The mattress was lumpy and the hot water was scalding hot. In the morning I left a tip for housekeeping. They cleaned only the bathroom. Didn't even make up the bed. But they took the tip! They did come back and apologized after I called. Overall still a very nice hotel.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff and extremely clean rooms. Trolley conveniently comes to the front doors of the hotel making traveling into town easy and affordable. Would love to stay here again.

Nice hotel great view of the mountains!!!

Posted Jul 13, 2015
This is a very nice hotel for the price. It is very close to all the shops and restaurants in Gatlinburg but it not right in the middle of everything. The pools where great. I have a 1 year old and he loved it. The only thing I didn't like is it didn't have free breakfast.

Nice Hotel, but service in the restaurant

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Cons: Food service.
The service in the Restaurant was bad. Certainly not up to the Hilton or DoubleTree service we have become accustomed to.

Posted Jul 10, 2015
Pros: Location and the hotel it's self.
Cons: Parking, they need more parking.
Location: Gatlinburg, many choices of things to do and see.
Spur of the moment trip. Booked the same day as arrival. Pleasant staff and nice room.

Nice and clean

Posted Jul 10, 2015
Pros: The view from the hotel is great.
Cons: Need free breakfast. The trolley's are not reliable from the hotel. They are supposed to run every half hour. We walked after waiting an hour.
Location: The Gatlinburg strip is within a mile. Everything you can imagine. Traffic is brutal. Take the trolley if you can wait for it. 50 cents per person.
Nice, clean stay. The only two drawbacks are distance from the strip and you do not receive any sort of breakfast. You can purchase breakfast for around $10. The dining facilities inside the hotel are very expensive for dinner ($25 per person before tax). The pool area is awesome and the hotel staff were friendly. The rooms were clean. We visited around the 4th of July. The trolley was nice but the schedule fluctuated and the trolley driver provided wrong information on two occasions. This is not the hotels fault but you cannot walk safely to the strip. We waited an hour and then walked down a steep hill in the dark. Parking in Gatlinburg will cost you anywhere from $5 to $10 and the traffic during the day is brutal. Gatlinburg is a fun, family friendly place and this hotel is a good place to lay your head at night.
